Fabulous interview Hearvey. "Amadeus" is one of my top ten and I've been a fan of F. Murray since then. He's absolutely methodical and brilliant in the discussion about his craft. I really enjoyed him and loved hearing he's a deeply religious man too.
Thanks so much for watching
I like the way F. Murray Abraham smiles when he explains things. My husband was a student of Dick Smith - makeup artist for 'Amadeus'. He says Dick always spoke highly of this actor's kind and gentle intelligent nature.
That’s so cool! I certainly agree that Murray is a sweetheart
The most gracious statement I ever heard at the Academy Awards was made by this gentleman. When he said "The only thing that could make this moment any more complete would be if Tom Hulce were standing next to me!"
Class. Pure class.
I have to agree! He went from a trip in a helicopter to Amadeus and owned the role. Tom Hulce was humbled at F Murray's Oscar speech.
So true
A pleasure, an honour, and a privilege ... for all of us! Thanks, Harvey!
You honor me with your kind feedback. Thank you so much
What an absolute delight getting to spend some time with such an incredible man! Thank you so much both of you.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed this very special episode of our show. Thank you so much for watching
Harvey, this may have been your greatest interview yet. Mr. Abraham is a delightful gentleman and your very insightful questions elicited such honest and thoughtful responses that it was a joy to watch. Thank you for such a wonderful show.
Jeff you have all ferklempt!! THANK YOU
Such an absolute pleasure of a human to listen to, Harvey so are you as well!!! You brought us a real gem of a human and actor, what an outstanding and interesting man. This interview gave me chills. Such an absolute gentleman and story teller. You brought us another awesome episode Harvey, just a beautiful job , kudos again 🥹
Thank you SO MUCH. This interview really marks a turning point for our show, because Mr. Abraham is the first guest we've had who has won an Academy Award for Best Actor. It has always been our goal to conduct "legacy interviews" with the most prestigious entertainers on the planet, and today we took one more important step towards achieving that goal. Thank you as always for your incredibly kind support.
Thank you so much for your steadfast support of what I do. Greatly appreciated. More than you could ever imagine.
I have to admit that I didnt know who you are (bad me) until I Googled you. Another Ontarian here, so it made your wonderful interview even more special. You certainly did your homework and handled some of the more touchy subjects with sensitivity and respect. Kudos to you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our show and post your very kind comment. I hope you’ll check out more of our great interviews and consider subscribing to our RUclips channel. It would mean the world to me. 🙏❤️
Thank you for this excellent interview, as they always are.
That’s so kind of you to say. Thank you so much
Abraham has the energy level and gives the "vibe" of someone in his 30's or 40's. And having been married for 58 years! It is such an attractive thing in any individual to describe their former selves as gross in some ways, but to make the admission with fondness, like a tip of the hat from the present to the past.
Yes I was very impressed with the frankness with which he expressed regret at his behaviour immediately after winning the Oscar. It takes a big man or woman to recognize their flaws and correct them. I enjoyed every moment of my time with Mr. Abraham. Thanks so much for watching.
So true!!
What an inspiration! Was shocked when he said he was 85! Loved his comment about fear!
Yes he's a youthful man, even at 85. What magnetism and energy! I also loved his comment about conquering our fears. I do that every time I embark upon an interview with a legendary star. (But to be honest, deep down I'm shaking in my boots!)
He’s awesome
One of our greatest living actors! His monologue describing the adagio of Mozart's Gran Partita got me into classical music. Great interview Harvey!😊
Thank you so very much for watching, and for taking the time to post your comment.
Thank you!!
1 of your best interviews yet. Love it. Love him.
Thank you so much!
Greetings Harvey and Thank You for this Show!!
Mr. Abraham ✨ is a True Artist and im thrilled to see Him 💕 and listen to His ✨ Shared Talents 😊
Happy Holidays 🎉
Thank you so much for watching
His performance In Amadeus was amazing and brilliant. I felt a little sorry for Tom Hulce because he was incredible but no one could top that.
Yes Mr. Hulce was wonderful too. But Mr. Abraham definitely stole the show!!
Thank you Harvey
You are most welcome. Hosting our show is such a pleasure because of our wonderfully supportive and loyal viewers - like you!! THANK YOU
You are very welcome
Isn't he a delight and a amazing actor. Good to see you both❤
It was such a joy interviewing Murray. Thanks so much for watching and commenting
Excellent actor.👍
What did you think of the interview?
A real standup kind of guy for his great treatment of Burt Lancaster.
Yes he's a principled, kind and supportive professional and human being. I loved having him on our show. He treated me with such kindness and respect. What a pro. Thanks for watching.
Awesome man
I don't remember him in All the Presidents Men. What part did he play. Must have been very brief
Yes he played an arresting officer
Not to forget his limited run appearance as SCROOGE in A CHRISTMAS CAROL at MSG, NYC.
Oh how I wish I had seen that performance. I have never had the honor of seeing Mr. Abraham on the stage. Hopefully I will see him one day.
Yes for sure!!
Wasn't he in Barefoot in the Park?[1967]
Not to my knowledge
He's lucky life didn't imitate art, he's 85, but doesn't look at all like makeup made old Salieri (who died at 74) look!
Yes! What did you think of the interview?
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 As Salieri said to the cast of "Magic Flute", "It was perfection!."
BTW Milos Forman revealed that Murray originally was trying out for the role of Herr Direktor Rosenberg.
To be told that one of my interviews was “perfection” is a compliment of the highest order, for which I am profoundly grateful. Thank you so much for your support of our show.
