Very nice. Been fixing on buying a Hammy for a while. Man those defects would drive me crazy too and I would’ve done everything I could to send it back for a better one. It is your hard-earned money, after all.
Seems like a very cool watch. We're going to need a state of the collection video soon bud. You have I think the CW 12, Smiths explorer, Omega Seamaster ?
I bought the model on the green strap, it’s wears very nicely and weight. The numbers are a light green lume which goes well with the strap color but it’s difficult to see the numbers in low light, probably because there is no anti reflective coating, probably the number one criticism of this watch. Definitely not very good lume but everyone who collects watches needs a field watch. -8 seconds per day.
Grade 2 titanium is more pure than grade 5. In fact it is known as pure titanium. Grade 5 is a titanium alloy, consisting of 90% titanium and the rest in other alloys to give it more strength.
Had one of these in a different color. Loved the watch but it got stolen. I probably won’t be replacing it due to the no anti - reflective coating making the watch hard to read.
Grade 2 is no where near as scratch resistant as grade 5. Its a shame Hamilton don’t use 5 but I have know idea how much the watch would go up in cost either. If it meant say a 150-200 dollar increase I think it would be well worth it. And god knows why they don’t have any anti reflective coating on the inside of the crystal. I love this watch though it’s near perfect.
Titanium for light weight. Khaki field 38 mm for me is very light . Make it lighter makes it undesirable. I want to feel my watch and feel the presence of it on my wrist.
Poor quality control. Misaligned hands. No anti reflective coating. Ugly green color on the markers and hands. Extremely overpriced. This watch sucks. This brand sucks. Hard pass.
I’ve had 6 different Hamiltons and never had a quality control issue. Agree it would be nice for some AR coating on the underside of the crystal. All the Khaki’s suffer from this oversight. That said, these are an awesome value. I have a 6 year old Khaki Auto 38 that still runs at +1 second per day and has never been serviced. Nowhere near the same finishing, but practical performance is on par with my Omega Aqua Terra which cost 10x the price. Can’t really go wrong with a mechanical watch from the Swatch group.
The reference number for the bracelet for the 38mm case is H695000015 vs H695000017 for the 42mm.
How do you order the bracelet ?
hey from ireland, really enjoy your watch videos, hope your channels really takes off, thanks man.
i like your channel, not sure how you came into my feed, but I dig what you're doing. keep going
Thanks for the video! I wonder if the bracelet is fitted to the 38mm if purchased as an original set.

I love the Hamilton Khaki Field. Really want to get one in the next few years
That’s quite disappointing that the hour hand was misaligned. Especially for a watch at this price range. Good video. Thanks!!
Nice review!!! Thank you!
Titanium watches are very subdued pieces, I love that about them. You won't get the attention from the wrong people. Great review!!!

Thanks for the vid. How accurate is the timing?

What’s the part number on the bracelet I would like to prefer one for my Hamilton
Hi there! Nice video... Where did you buy the bracelet? I'm having trouble finding a provider. Thanks!
I called swatch parts directly and ordered over a phone call

You can get the hands realigned by a watchmaker
They will become misaligned again. Low quality poorly made movement. Junk
@Ferien7 are you speaking from experience here. I highly doubt the hands will misalign after a realignment.

Same. I got rid of every Hamilton I’ve owned because of their crystals.. couldn’t even read the thing.
Send it in to align the hands. No swiss watch should be misaligned
If you buy a watch that has a flaw that makes you so mad you just put it in the watch box so you never have to look at it... maybe return it?
Hamilton’s Achilles heal - those super reflective crystals 🤢
Keep making videos
Overall it looks clean. I like the brushed bezel.
biggest let down of being outdoor watch I think is missing AR coating.
Misalignment is hard to acceptable for Swiss made

Hamilton field watches should be nicknamed the GLARE Collection. This company has a problem with using AR. So sad.
