That's one large front grill. Great video and congrats on doing a diesel! Happy new year!

Is it worthwhile having an anti drain back valve on a vertical mounted filter? On my 7.3’s one has a no drain back valve one Has the anti drain back valve, both take same time to build oil pressure, I prefer to fill my oil filters outside in with the direction it’s supposed filter rather then pour in the back side of the filter element. On the vertical mounted filter are you better off having a drain back valve or pouring the oil in correctly?
Had a ? About the flush. If it has alot of carbon couldnt it break it up but then clog the oil screen?
Once it breaks it up it all goes into little particles and it ends up in the oil filter.
On the diesel trucks it's very important to change the full flow filter earlier than later and you'll actually feel a performance Improvement after changing the filter and the oil will look better after you change it. If you do excessive idling I recommend changing the oil filter at 15,000 miles instead of 25,000 and that way your filter will be clean and able to catch all the contaminants. Basically at the 6-month Mark you would just unthread the filter put an extra quart quart and a half of oil in change the filter and you're good to go.
A truck this big would actually benefit better from doing two bottles of engine flush because of how thick the oil gets.
Thanks for the questions have a great New Year😊
I have owned my 17 Mustang, for 3 years
I have accumulated 60 miles, I’m at 75k.
Do u recommend , a engine flush. I change my oil regularly.
Yes Kevin if it was my personal vehicle I would do a Amsoil engine flush also a bottle of the PI Cleaner I would also get a case of the upper cylinder lubricant I would run the signature series motor oil and if you are doing any high heat driving I also recommend one case of the Dominator Octane Booster.
I personally run the upper cylinder lubricant every full tank of gas on my car I also run the dominator octane booster every thousand miles and I run the PI performance improver about every 4500 miles.
This is my personal link if you ever want to try the products.
I appreciate your business future business in advance thanks for being a part of my RUclips community and when you use my link I would be your Amsoil dealer so I can always answer your questions in the future I would also get the credit for your orders thank you.

Good day, I have a question about dry engine start next morning. I'm using the XL and wondering the protection you are talking about deos keep the engine lubricated overnight to avoid any dry engine start damage or wear or not..?? Please I need you to know which additive stays all that long in the engine walls and surrounding area or there is no such protection..🖐
Yes XL is 100% Synthetic and clings to the engine walls very well.
I’m going go to farm and fleet and see if they carry amsoil by me, It’s time for my oil change I follow manual requirements, mobile 1 extended performance worked pretty well only had to add less then half quart since the change so got a full 7500 miles on almost entirely the same oil but I want to possibly not burn oil, if farm fleet has it, I’ll gladly give it a try,

Last time I checked, Amsoil was not on Fords list of approved oils for the Powerstroke.
Amsoil meets and exceeds the OEM oil by about 5 to 10 times.
AMSOIL Signature Series 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil protects against harmful deposits on turbochargers 4X better than Mobil1® Extended Performance and 3.6X better than Royal Purple® in industry-standard testing*.
www.amsoil.com/newsstand/motor-oil/articles/leading-the-field-in-deposit-protection/?zo=5331179
Doesnt matter what is claimed by amsoil. It's not approved by ford so it wouldn't be warranted if the motor went tits up. Also the fine print in the amsoil says if they are not OEM approved, they will not cover failure in their warranty.
@@Syntheticoilprotection hey are you going to respond to this comment? Cause I’m curious to...
@@themikel129 Incorrect. Ford, nor anyone else can not deny warranty coverage due to not using ‘Motorcraft’ or ‘OEM fluids’ UNLESS the company is giving you the oil for FREE. That is the law. As long as it meets or exceeds the OEM spec for the vehicle, you are good, even if you arent using Amsoil. It would be the same with Mobil 1 or Castrol or whoever. Period.
@@dakahulaz59 If anyone tells you that ‘Your warranty will be void if you use a different oil.’ , ask them to give you that in writing. They can’t because they know it isnt’t true.
I know this video was a long time ago but how the the drain back a upgrade and what micron filtering is it rated for it sound like u are making claims with no data to back it up
Great question Justin yeah the filter is different It is a specialty filter that's proprietarily made by amsoil It is a 99% efficiency at 20 micron full-float oil filter and that filters rated up to 25,000 miles depending on the application.
This will give you all the products for that specific model and any other model when you click on the product you'll be able to see the full description that will give you all the information as far as specifications and efficiency ratings.

@@Syntheticoilprotection are you in vegas?
Yes, I live in the west side of town kind of near Red Rock in Las Vegas. Summerlin area
You should emphasize more on extended drain and tell people they will save more money doing so..
Great Point rod I like your thinking!!!
How did I mention protection because I have been working on bringing that in Moore?
I've been concentrating on protection protection protection protection protection protection protection lately....... lol
I have a 2012 F-250 6.7 Diesel, it currently has 220,000 miles. Would you recommend the oil flush?
Yes yes yes !!!
Right now there's all kinds of carbon deposits around your cylinders and your piston rings and your compression is probably about 3 to 6% below OEM.
Once you get that carbon off input 100% synthetic on the metal your compression will be back to OEM and or better.
Also the turbo has carbon deposits inside it and those can sometimes insulate the turbo and make it hotter.
when you flush it you will feel quite a bit of a difference in power.
I was blown away when I did this truck in the video and I drove it and it was a totally different truck after I did all the fluids.
My guess is about 25 rear-wheel horsepower after doing the motor oil the filter diesel injector clean cetane boost transmission fluid differential gear lube transfer case and coolant and cooling boost
Hey Cody this is the entire playlist on every single fluid done.

Thanks for the question man really appreciate you being a part of my RUclips Community!
Eben, can one use the diesel fuel cleaner on big rig, Detroit 60 series?
yes you can use any of the Amsoil diesel fuel additives on any diesel engines
There's a new one that just came out and it's called Amsoil cetane boost Plus diesel - www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/fuel-additives/diesel/diesel-injector-clean-cetane-boost/?code=ADSPCN-EA?zo=5331179
Did you ever do a follow up video for gas mileage?
Not yet but I have a follow-up video on a 1997 F250 7.3 L
He went from 350 miles per full tank to about 420 per full tank.
1997 F250 video ruclips.net/video/s-ItZVopHDw/видео.html
Just the motor oil flush and fuel system cleaner and lubricant took him up about 12 and a half percent.
Then we did the transmission the coolant and the front and rear differential and that took him up another I believe about 5%.
I think he's sitting around 420 miles per full tank
I just ordered oil for my wife's truck, my Chevelle, and everything you had in this video for my superduty. Used your dealer number so I'm sure you will hear from me again.
Sweet!!!
Thanks Stephen, let me know how your truck runs when you change it😊
This is a Duramax flush I just did the other day - ruclips.net/video/x3djUe_bfXk/видео.html
I wonder if amsoil diesel additive works better than archoil ?
I think you'll have more protection with the Amsoil diesel Signature Series however there are additives that can get better gas mileage with less friction but it's a trade-off and the trade-off is the longevity of the oil.
The more additives you add the less length of time the oil will last as far as friction modifiers for more horsepower
I wouldn't add any modifiers to Amsoil because it's complete the way it comes.
This is the 100% synthetic Amsoil signature and Max Duty diesel oil
www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/motor-oil/diesel/signature-series-max-duty-synthetic-diesel-oil-5w-40/?code=DEOQT-EA?zo=5331179
A lot of the over-the-road trucks 18-wheelers run that oil with a double bypass oil filter and they usually run about 50 to a hundred thousand miles on an oil change. The bypass filters filter at 2 microns in regular at 98.7% efficiency and the regular full flow filters filter at 20 microns at 98.7% efficiency so the oil looks pretty clear all the time.
This is my bypass oil filter playlist. ruclips.net/p/PLB_ftWArBFdemxUpx8J4taQcIxiR-ykjr

Can the engine flush be used when using conventional oil?
Yrs
Yes
I own a new Ford Superduty, 8000 miles. I purchased 100,000 bumper to bumper extended warranty. Ford tells me I can't use Amsoil, not listed as an authorized oil. What say you? Any others, interested in your comments...thanks
6.7 Diesel, sorry
Great question bill the default at any dealership is to tell you to bring it to them it's very common.
The Law's the law and you can use any cheap oil on your car however if they can prove that the oil damaged your engine they will void the warranty. There's really no limitations to any type of oil it's more what happens to the engine.
You'll see here that you can use Amsoil oil on any type of engine and it will not void the warranty.
This is the warranty information here www.amsoil.com/newsstand/articles/feel-secure-using-amsoil-synthetic/?zo=5331179
Thanks for response and I hear you. I change my own oil, always have. I use Motorcraft branded oil and filter currently. Ford does have a list of other brands they support, Amsoil is not on it. I asked if the would support the Amsoil bypass oil filter kit...no problems there. They even offered to sell it and install for me. Final question if I may, at what mileage does Amsoil recommend starting the use of their synthetic diesel oil? I have read 30,000 miles with conventional oils during "break in". I am asking as I assume you are connected with Amsoil and not just providing personal opinion 😉, respectfully. Thanks for your time
Awesome questions Bill if you ever have any questions give me a buzz happy to go over the comprehensive perspectives of the Amsoil motor oil the bypass filter systems what you can expect from them and how they integrate into any vehicle and what they basically healed my best phone number is 702-472-3614 you can call me anytime thanks Bill
Hi new subscriber here my question is will I hurt my engine if I change from Rotella T4 15w40 to this product really curious to try this in my super duty 2016
I smell a salesman. I thought it was a lady from the thumbnail. I fell like it is trying to sell me this stuff.
I don't sell nutting! I get things bought for one reason results!
