The hole point of an RPI is to have a small and cheap Linux computer. Running windows 10 on it is just stupid regardless whether the arm version is supported by Microsoft or not. It is heavy and inefficient and considering how low powered the RPI is it just makes no sense to run x86 software using that strange jit compiler. All of the thigs this guy tried to do can be done perfectly on Linux, saying that without windows 10 it is just a paperweight is just stupid.
There are a few debloated win10 images out there. Would it run say maybe from an Ssd?
The pie needs a small graphic accelerator add on for video and gaming boosts.
Just Hardware level rendering, and better ram.....And of course a few other's as well, but Yes!,
You always have great vids. Keep up the great work or guys like me won't be able to learn how to do what we want to do.
Can you provide a link to Wireless LAN driver for Windows 10 ARM?
was wondering .. is there a COMPLETE working image to use and just apply to an SD card with Etcher , then boot and go ?
No there is an install utility where you select the image in it and it will download then you insert the uefi file and the drivers and then you would flash it to the sd card but I guess someone could use a app on woa to copy the os to a iso file for people to use that would be great but this project is non profit so there would have to be volunteers to make the iso for every model and build
May u try the Geforce Now - the cloud gaming from Nvidia ? I want to make a super cheap console with this, but I don't know is this working or performence would be terrible like with yt in this video.
That won't somehow work with chroot and VNC on an ARM 32bit Android device, right?
Can you try Xbox game streaming via Ethernet? I'm curious to see the performance.
I don't remember the name but there are some scripts for Windows to lower the system RAM and CPU usage
RaspberryPiPkg/Binary/prebuilt/2019Jan16-GCC5 is where you can find the uefi on the andreiw github ... it took me like 10 minutes...
*i'am waiting GPU driver for fully hardware support for watching movies/films from USB hard drive on Win10 with Rpi3... NOW it FREEZES!*
I won't be *quite* so hard on your mis-pronunciation of _"Et Voila"_ ; you kinda got it HALF-right - you got the "V" in, by saying _"Volla"_ ... but next time, there's NO excuses, okay? ;-)
Im looking to run OctoPrint for my 3d printer in the background. I want to be able to start prints at a remote site. im thinking with 1 gib ram my Pi will not be able to handle the load. what you think?
Do you know how to enable overscan or overclock from the stock 1.4GHz like we can in Raspbian? Does the /boot/config.txt have similar settings for configuration?
Good idea but they would have to create a custom overlap bios to over clock it good idea but it would be risky especially without much cooling
Took 4-5 hours to write the install onto the sdcard. Then took 3 hours to boot up windows into the first question. Clicked next and I've been waiting around 1-2 hours for it to pop up with the next question. I have a class 10 sd card which reads at 22mbps so I don't see how this is so slow. Followed everything in the video.
ultimately. its their ..thank don
Am I able to download a windows desktop app and run in the background? Like iMazing.
This can work with alternative boards like orangepi or bananapi?
Does this work on any raspberry pi or just the 3/3+? I've got a raspberry pi 2 and cant seem to find if it works or not.
currently works only on model 3 could also work on 2 v1.2
Talking of SSD via USB ... Is it USB 2.0 or 3.0 on raspberry pi 3 b&b+
Still 2.0.
If we change its RAM,will it be faster?
Absolutely, Ebon are You listening, 2g ram..., and at least 1xusb 3.0...! :)
SSD + Overclocked CPU + 4GB RAM is the way to do it.
I have a question, for those that have already got this running. Is this Win10 running in a sort-of "emulation" mode (that is, emulating the x86 instruction set) or is it running natively in Arm? I ask, because I can't see how else is it gonna run your favorite *.exe file (say PuTTy.exe, for example)
it emulates the x86 code to ARM code hence it works really well.
Windows 10 is running in native arm64, able to use x86 32bit app (emulation) and even better with native arm64 app
Hey Novasprit Tech :D
I got:
3x raspberry pi 2
3x raspberry pi 3
1x raspberry pi 3+ 2015
1x raspberry pi 3+ 2017
Any ideas what i could do with them? I also got like 5-6 16 gb sd cards :D
Any fun project ideas?
Full network security using multiple Pi's
Novaspirit Tech i Will look at that, you Got any tips?
@@victorman931 Check out Pi-Hole and OpenVPN for starters. You can even run them on Pi Zero's.

Wifi- Are you talking about onboard wifi or USB dongle?
Onboard
Please test mail office and log boot & application load time. This is a great work. And what about security and system updates is it safe??

Windows on ARM, is it the Windows source code re-written for ARM?
or is it Windows x86 ported to ARM, with allot of x86 code still in it?
if ported, which part of the code is fully ARM? x86?
It's native arm64 windows 10. The x86 part is this version of windows able to run x86 (limited to 32bit) app on arm processor
IMPORTANT:So if u make a raspberry pi cluster with eight of them and put windows 10 u can play fortnite right coz it has eight gigs of ram right please tell me
not likely. even if you could cluster them together with windows 10, fortnite likely won't run on arm...
@@cortburris9526 ok thanks but would it have a faster processor speed if you cluster
@@Sammy-ec1qz it would have more cores, but processor core speed is locked to 1.2 or 1.4ghz. so, faster at doing things that rely on multiple cores like video encoding, but no different in things like video games
@@cortburris9526 thnx still new to the rpi 3

tutorial for WOA for the raspberry pi 4?
...but can it run Crysis?
Yes and at 90 fps.
in a very short breath, yes - well Arm sbc's can.
Now that Steam is on Linux, with many titles fully supported. A Rock/Alpha64 board with pcie will start to compare with desktops costing a Lot more.
even with a cheapy 1050, or 1060ti
and, in all honesty. If it was worth porting Crysis to Arm - it would be doing it already, with the onboard video4.
Crysis isn't a demanding game anymoar. Just a cat-call for those that don't Use their computers to do anything.. at all...
@@pdjames1729 cat call? Purrrrrr meow....

how to change the screen resolution once windows has been put as an OS in Raspberry pi?
Can we install any linux distro on Raspberry Pi apart from Ubuntu and Raspbian?
Ehm... no... only those that actually have a 32 or 64 bit ARM installer.
CentOS and Fedora have AARM64 based spins as well...
