How did you get regular start to the game? Mine always loads me into a room and it wont give me the option to do the base start.
@@rikrvargr2553 When installing Nolvus, do not select the 'Alternative Start' option, and you will begin with the vanilla

There were probably mods specifically to keep the cart stable. I'd guess at least 10 for 2000 mods. Maybe even 20.
playing with 2000 mods would be so sweaty! "please dont crash, please dont crash, please dont crash" at every turn and load screen....eeesh
props for keeping it running long enough for a full playthrough!! i love my skyrim with about 10+ water, tree, sky, and texture mods and it's 100% perfect for me. Slaying in Skyrim with tiddies out and heels on, the way Todd intended! ;)

This modpack has quite a lot of customs mods and is actually more stable than the base game in my experience.
IF you're careful, modding is pretty stable. The problem is when you have no plan - like me - and just download every mod that sounds even the slightest bit interesting and have no idea what each actually does and what files it messes with, if it specifically fucks you over for running a certain mod with it, all that fun stuff.

I’ve been playing Skyrim since it first came out.. First on the PC. Then the Xbox 360, then the PlayStation 3 then the PlayStation, 4 then the Xbox One.. and now the special edition on the Xbox series. X.. altogether I’ve done 404 players. I’ve never seen it. Look this good.. this is amazing
Like I got it all on all Consoles and on PC but I keep coming back to Xbox 360 Skyrim because of my Most Amount of Time spent on that one.

I have beaten Skyrim more times . It's an easy game to play. But did you know if you leave the dragons alone for 2 weeks they will hunt you down lol. I really like that part. It's a great game. I really like rpg games. I know Skyrim I know it like the back of my hand. Great video. I get pumped up every time I hear the music.

Last time I played I remember getting stuck on the intro after getting off the carriage because I had True Directional Movement installed, my character would walk into the wall away from Hadvar. I wonder if that's been fixed now. It's been so long...

That's why I don't install a modpack. I prefer to choose which mods I want to install.

@@genegene7028 Where should I start... The health bars above everyone's head for instance.. That is totally unimmersive and not relevant.. You cant just walk around and see floating healthbars... Vanilla Skyrim is much better in this regard, you can only notice the health bar of an enemy if you are focused on them, which means, if you are focused on 1 enemy you dont notice the health of the others... But the biggest issue is with the combat....
Combat here seems clunky, somehow less good than vanilla.. Swinging you weapons somehow always produces blood and sparks.. as if its a game from the late 90's. Sometimes you hit enemies without even touching them with your weapon.. totally umimmersive and unnecessary. The Vanilla combat is better than this
I have over 1600 hours in this game and havent played in many years. But still remember where everything is before you get to it. I keep saying "there's a chest over there" or "go to the left" =D The combat has changed quite a bit from what I remember though. Makes me want to start another play through.

Modders are turning
Skyrim into a new game it's crazy how I am more interest in more Skyrim mods then new AAA Games.
Love all your mods. Is it all from a mod pack? Have you ever tried using a controller on pc. I think it makes the game more fluid. There’s also some mods for natural movements.
It's a combination of the Nolvus modpack along with some personal mods that I selected from Nexusmods based on my preferences. I haven't tried using a controller before :D
One thing I didn't like about Nolvus is the glamourizing of nearly all women. It took me out of immersion because most women I came across look like super models or hot fitness chicks. I wished there was a way to only make a few women attractive like Isolde, Carlotta, and Elisif. It'd make sense for someone like Carlotta to be attractive since so many guys hit on her.
This is one of a few reason why I always stop playing nolvus. The list is impressive and I respect the hustle but it’s just TO much from everything…

В моем скайриме довакин имеет только свои анимации, орки и норды - свои, каджиты и редгарды - другие, имперцы и бретонцы - тоже свои.
Тебе как раз не хватает анимации для меча и кинжала, и для двух мечей.
Только я не знаю, есть ли версия для твоего АЕ, или подойдёт и так - попробуй.
Мне очень понравилось в твоей сборке:
- расширенный храм холодных водопадов.
- как же здорово преобразилась природа - я смотря видео потерялся после вайтрана, потом какие-то горы, и понял где твой персонаж находится только тогда, когда засветился глаз Мары.
- очень крутой стабильный фпс

@@MatiPlayzz I did a few changes (I don't remember exactly what changes) but I diddn't made any change to trees or graphics mods in general. Maybe it have something to do with reshade or with ENB there I made some changes
I picked the Nolvus version where you level through experience instead of skill leveling and it is so much slower 😅
yes, but its more rewarding. also, just do quests. it can actually be a bit faster at certain levels since you don't have to power level your skills.

No, follow the steps from Nolvus website and once the mods are installed and you complete all the steps from the installation guide you are ready to play

The temps are good, 70 GPU and CPU 50-70 .. the PC is 3 years old

Hit and miss modpack imho. Run&gun archery is very flashy and fun with air dodges and leg kick bashes, but too many actions don’t use up any stamina making it trivial where you can just spam bash to stagger enemies. Half of those don’t have MCM or INI file settings where you could’ve change those.
And the way so many NPCs look way too glamorous out of style and place is an “interesting” aesthetic choice to put it politely.
Landscape, visuals, lighting and weather is a masterpiece though with Pi-CHO ENB.
How would you compare this Nolvous to Constellations - A True RPG? Ive been looking for complete overhauls but ut also has to stay true to the game and feel like Skyrim. Constellations is giving me issues when i try and load up a save so now im looking for something else thats actually working correctly

Wow 2000 mods but no alternate start? Not having to take that long wagon ride and escape Helgen .. again .. has immensely improved replay ability for myself.

Nolvus installs a downgraded version of the game for you on your pc in it's own instance in mo2.

Hmm I don't know for sure you can disable it but I don't know how the mod that changes camera movement is called, I played with vanilla perks however you have the option when you install to choose a different perk system if I am not wrong and I am not sure how it is because I didn't tried it

It's not that difficult, you can enter here and follow the guide; it takes 15-20 minutes www.nolvus.net/appendix/installer/introduction
Looks nice, only issue is the camera is so freaky jumpy. Like an hour into the vido I was getting a headache, theres no way I could suffer playing that
It was just their settings, I have that same mod on my custom mod list and is highly configurable
There are presets that you can download too, or make your own setup. I'm also not a fan of how the camera worked out of the box with Nolvus but it's highly customizable.
Movement/camera seems janky for some reason.

When you install Nolvus you have to untick Unbound Start and you will get Vanilla one

on these modpacks, is it possible to disable some mods, like this luminous slash effect that is not realistic? i like most of it, but dont like much of the flamboyant japanese tokusatsu like effects
I think you should be fine if you only disable the effects and graphics mods. Personally, I disabled a few too and didn't have any issues.
I've removed over 100 mods and installed at least 50.
It's a great modlist to use as a starting point and there's an active support channel for modifying the list.
It's actually a really flexible starting point for modding. A lot of stuff can be changed, deactivated and tweaked to your liking.
Ye it's fine as long as you don't remove anything that an another mod depends on, which is easy to see in mo2, plus don't ever do it mid playthrough. Start a new game and you should be fine with removing most things.

Skyrim mods are SO good, that when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, everyone will be disappointed by it just because Skyrims modding community have raised the bar INSANELY high, that nothing will satisfy us anymore..... until mods for Elder Scrolls 6 comes out.

If Starfield is any indication of Bethesda's ability to make games, I have a feeling TES6 is going to be a massive disappointment. Bethesda isn't the same company they were when they made Skyrim.

I have never played Skyrim, always wanted to play it with mods but i have no energy to do it because i don't know where to begin, it sucks knowing that your PC can run it but you can't because you don't know where to start
There are a lot of collections/modpacks that you can choose from. Some just make the game look nicer, others completely overhaul all aspects like Nolvus does. I'd say take a look at some good modpacks and let those do the balancing act of what is compatible, while you just click and install and play.

This is a modpack, making it easy to install. You don't have to install 2000 mods separately; they are all installed through a setup. I used Nolvus in this video: www.nolvus.net/

The mod is great, but if it were me i would prefer to keep it as vanilla friendly as possible, i still want to play like skyrim got an in game updates instead of useless bug fixing stuff since it's still buggy anyway
You can just install texture overhauls which make the game look updated but play exactly like vanilla. With modding you can put as much and as little as you want into the game.
GOG or other Versions are NOT supported. You need official Steam Skyrim AE ver. :(
