I like both vanilla and modded Skyrim. Now that a groundbreaking mod called MCO has appeared, as someone who likes high fantasy, I mainly use the Virgil moveset for high-quality action that fits the current trend. However, the reason I played Skyrim in the past was because the image of the brave northern Norse warrior with a steel sword and shield defeating a dragon and using the roar looked so masculine and strong. I like nearly all of the combat changes, but the red slice/streak that shows up when hitting an enemy looks tacky and out of place. Can that be easily removed? It's very distracting from otherwise awesome hit animations.

@@FROSTGamingVerse I feel like it's hard to make solid modlist for first person and third person combat, because most of MCO animations packs, which they are core of 3rd combat modlist for Skyrim, are too slow for first peron combat. Yup this engine can achieve a lot for such an old engine! Directional combat is awesome, and I have tried it in skyrim, however its very difficult to balance when several enemies surround you.
Man this modlist looks so good, can't wait for a wabbajack version to download this because I'm still too amateur when it comes modding skyrim and I lack the time to learn it more.
I've never really played Skyrim but this looks awesome. Is it hard to mod it? How many mods are you running? Is there a 1 mod does all? Wish there was 😆
@@cptrockstar3292 modding Skyrim is awesome because you basically make your own game! Unfortunately there isn't one mod that does it all. I have several mods in this list. But fortunately it doesn't take alot of mods to get a similar effect
Ahh sorry, it is pricey but too be honest if you opt for AMD parts you can actually build a pc that will run this easily for the same price as current consoles now :) Let me know if you ever do look into getting a pc, I would be happy to help.
Ill say that the combat is definitely more like Assassins Creed Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla. Ive never like the combat in those 3 games. But, mods are the greatest thing to happen to skyrim, and to each their own.

Yeah its definitely a different flavour of combat compared to the original, the quick interface is from the wheeler menu by dtry and then I added a reskin by edge ui. I enjoy vanilla + as well so I do plan to work on a video with that type of gameplay as well:)
I looked at the mod list that you used in this video but I can't seem to find a faster way to download it. I really don't want to spend like 10 hours downloading 2,000 mods. Is there a faster way?
These combat mods get old real fast when you're not fighting level 1 bandits and instead Meatsponge enemies with 1k HP that all rush you in all directions.
@@FROSTGamingVerse Right. I just wish that not every single one of these Combat mod showcase videos are fighting lvl 1 Bandits in outdoor Forts. 90% of the game's combat encounters are inside claustrophobic caves and nordic ruins. Outdoor Fort encounters you can count with 2 hands.

Great post, love the battle mods. Looks like it makes combat easier? Or maybe this player is talented enough to make it seem easier?
It was actually easier, so I improved the difficulty in my update here: ruclips.net/video/ShqaA9oIeMg/видео.html
@@FROSTGamingVerse looking good!
INCREDIBILI!!!
YES :)
5:40: INCREDIBLIS!
Haha nice reference :)
I like nearly all of the combat changes, but the red slice/streak that shows up when hitting an enemy looks tacky and out of place. Can that be easily removed? It's very distracting from otherwise awesome hit animations.
I agree the strikes were distracting so I changed them in this video, let me know what you think: ruclips.net/video/ayXha2lRnPk/видео.htmlsi=C2bIR5Pgx8cW0w0l
I can still hear the centurion screaming INCREDIBILIS!!!
Haha nice one!
the combat is actually kinda of more impressive from every other skyrim video with about the same title, But ngl i think something no one bothers to mod is the healing system, its really janky and no matter the player build you will always use restoration as your main healing source
Thank you, mmm I never thought about another healing system, what do you have in mind?
Setup looks pretty solid, but I still prefere first person modded combat. It feels more in "Skyrim way" :-D
Yes first person is still awesome.
Theres some first person combat here but only very brief ruclips.net/video/4CDgRWBjTxU/видео.htmlsi=UuSugC-SEMDyZoKn&t=354
@@FROSTGamingVerse I feel like it's hard to make solid modlist for first person and third person combat, because most of MCO animations packs, which they are core of 3rd combat modlist for Skyrim, are too slow for first peron combat. I fell like vanilla 3rd animations are little bit faster, which make a good pace for 1st peron combat. Anyway, thanks for response.
As a console player I prefer the game unmodded just for trophies and that. But still gotta appreciate mods, they bring an old game back to life.
That and I just like the darker, more gritty style of the game. More medieval.
Totally get that-console mods are a bit of a hassle with trophies and all, but yeah, mods really breathe new life into older games. And I’m with you on the darker, medieval vibe! It just hits different when the world feels more raw and gritty.
Old 2011 combat is better.
I understand the changes might not suit everyone so I am open to making other versions, have a look at my other video may be these versions are better?
ruclips.net/video/ayXha2lRnPk/видео.html
No it isnt
Nice Combat and Graphics mod .
Thank you :)
Hi friend, I've already reviewed it 5 times. How much does it cost for you to make this assembly for me?
On your system?
It's no fun having such weak enemies. Use for your gameplays:
"Skyrim Revamped - Complete Enemy Overhaul" or "Revenge Of the Enemies 2016 Modified SE"
Thank you I will definitely check that out!
I did make the combat against Bandits more challenging here: ruclips.net/video/ayXha2lRnPk/видео.htmlsi=C2bIR5Pgx8cW0w0l
Using the OBIS bandit mod
As much as I dont like the combat you added, its amazing that Skyrim is basically a base to make it whatever game you like. Me personally I prefer directional blocking games like Mount and Blade or For Honor and... Yeah theres mods to make it like that. Amazing.
Yup this engine can achieve a lot for such an old engine!
Directional combat is awesome, and I have tried it in skyrim, however its very difficult to balance when several enemies surround you.
1:15 worse combat I’ve ever seen 💀
I understand, would you prefer vanilla plus?
Man this modlist looks so good, can't wait for a wabbajack version to download this because I'm still too amateur when it comes modding skyrim and I lack the time to learn it more.
Hi there, I don't have a wabbajack list as yet but its in progress, thanks for the support
We turned Slyrim into Elder Scrolls 6 before Bethesda released it.
Exactly!
I would like to see upgraded / update combat style, not a different style of combat in my opinion, but great job 👍
Hi there, alright I'll work on that :)
Excelente, faltaron las ejecuciones y a los jefes y dragones un fatality jaja. Buen trabajo con los mods
Thanks! Haha, you're right-some executions and a fatality for bosses and dragons would be awesome! Glad you liked the mods though!
By the Gods. Can't afford a good PC right now and I'm at the mod limit on XBSX. Still I'll probably be playing until I retire
Ahh sorry, it is pricey but too be honest if you opt for AMD parts you can actually build a pc that will run this easily for the same price as current consoles now :)
Let me know if you ever do look into getting a pc, I would be happy to help.
Thanks. I usually just use my phone for stuff and know very little about PC specs. I'd prefer using a controller vs keyboard/mouse also
I understand,
I also prefer controller.
All my gameplay has been recorded with a controller :)
Modded is better than starfield overall lmao
This looks amazing man, what are the bow mods and the item selection mods? that ui looks so clean
I use dynamic bow animtaion!
And edge ui
increadible!
Thank you!
what is the name of mod that makes your shield be on the back of the character?
IED immersive equipment displays
What are the names of the mods that appear in the video, about the voice dialogue and the action wheel when exchanging weapons? 😊
Ill say that the combat is definitely more like Assassins Creed Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla. Ive never like the combat in those 3 games. But, mods are the greatest thing to happen to skyrim, and to each their own.
Yeah its definitely different but its awesome that mods can change it in so many ways
this mod list and Invicta i cant wait to try. Btw when do you think this will be all up and running?
Thank you for the encouragement.
I am doing another video soon with some changes and it would be great to see what everyone enjoys so that I can construct the best list and then once I have patched distant LOD I will likely release a wabbajack list
@@FROSTGamingVerseokay thanks for informing me
Looks great as always!!
Thanks!
Faithful sub right here!
Been a year now hey:)
Can this combat mod accessible for ps4? I didn’t mind the music change, like the combat it was a breath of fresh air
Unfortunately, most of the combat related mods are pc only, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I really want a mod that just improve the textures without modify all aspects of the game...
There are plenty of awesome texture overhaul mods out there.
Are you on pc or console?
@@FROSTGamingVerse I am on PC
I forgot how nostalgic LE is ❤
Yeah some of us have been modding so long we've forgotten the original
Nice video!! What is the location mod for that Robber's Gorge overhaul?
Thank you!
The mod is Ryns: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/64326
@@FROSTGamingVerse i've got it, thanks!! Glad to see more video from you!
@@bunnguyenchannel3154
Awesome thanks, got another one coming soon :)
This is very good but you should have atleast left the iconic skyrim song.......🥰🤩
Yes you are right, I will be making a vanilla+ list soon which will keep the iconic theme songs
The graphics are nice. The melee combat too. But i prefer vanilla bows than those automatic aims and rapid shots.
Yes, I am working on the bow combat at the moment, thanks for the input :)
personally i could never go without Greatsword Locomotion on a melee character
I'll check it out, thanks!
There is nothing left from skyrim....
Haha yeah I did change it alot...
I have a video with a vanilla plus version here: ruclips.net/video/ayXha2lRnPk/видео.html
Let me know which one you prefer :)
wait til he hears about witcher 3
Yes big fan of that too.
I want to modify it more with the Redkit which recently released :)
Nice video ! What is the mod that make your power attacks glow orange with a sound ? As seen at 5:30
Thanks,
The mod is the patreon version of Skypias for honor animations.
Found here: www.patreon.com/SmoothAanimation
The free version is on nexus here: next.nexusmods.com/profile/skypia/mods?gameId=1704
@@FROSTGamingVerse Oh ok i see, ty for your response
Hey man I do not mean to be rude, But there is some Skyrim in your Mods
😂
Haha just a little :0
Side rolls and flexible anime like moves while wearing heavy iron and plate armor is the most un-immersive thing ever.
Fair enough I can work making heavy armour more restrictive :)
2024: whats the hurry? Please...
:)
Amazing
Thanks!
This game change my perspective.now I don't like games which can't be heavily modable like skyrim.
Haha sorry, what a about something closer to vanilla?
Ngl i don't like your modded config about combat, but i like the quick interface
I find the vanilla more realistic, more heavy, your version make the game looks like some anime shonen character doing backflips and shit not my type, but what really matter is that you do enjoy it yourself !
Wabbajack
Yes I am working on an auto installer :)
I downloaded Skyrim and it's the best game i played and i have downloaded one mod that is sauron armor one.
Awesome!
These combat mods get old real fast when you're not fighting level 1 bandits and instead Meatsponge enemies with 1k HP that all rush you in all directions.
Generally speaking that is true but with the right mods it can be a very balanced experience.
Okay I can definitely showcase some indoor combat areas as well :)
Mods definitely make the game better but when I get a gaming computer, I’m gonna try to balance the combat because it just seems like he’s beating up on the computer so easily
Combat looks like in Assassin's Creed of RPG era
Yeah it does a little hey :)
i prefer vanilla. Just update the graphics only for vanilla and it will look better
Everyone has their preference, thats why modding has kept this game alive and its great.
Could go for a complete overhaul or just go vanilla plus.
Perhaps I'll cover a graphics only list at some point :)
I am a npc from skyrim and I love vanilla, vanilla forever
Good to hear from you Ebony Warrior ;)
This modded version it’s only possible in pc? Or can i do something similar at least in my ps5? This looks awesome
Some mods work on console, but majority of the mods are pc only unfortunately.
Most of the mods can work on a relatively weak pc, only some of the graphics and location overhauls will impact performance alot
@@FROSTGamingVerse worth asking, some day in the future I’ll get a gamer pc, it’s hard to save money in my country 😂
8:43 which mod is that bro (u punched the guy and he fell)
It comes from this mod: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/74750
However only the patreon version has the punch, here: www.patreon.com/posts/for-honor-in-3-1-95673167
