Thoughts from someone who owns the original Allpa 35L design: Pros: love the new small external top pocket, love combining the interior top pocket to one instead of 2 Cons: I think the water bottle pocket on the 35 & 42 is unnecessary, they’re almost always too big to be under the seat where having my water bottle is useful anyways but more importantly it takes away the interior access side zipper which I use ALL THE TIME! If you need a water bottle pocket for these they used to make an attachable one that works fine when needed (I will say I think the water bottle pocket on the 28&20 bags is a good idea bc those are personal item sized bags!), removing the little Velcro strap on the tablet pocket seems dumb and I have no idea why they would do that. Why did they remove the compression straps from the main compartment, I think they did this awhile ago but I love having them! Lastly, my original has hip straps like this and they’ve been tucked since I got the bag, but my spouse has a del dia 35 from like 2020 and his hip belt is removable and I think that’s the best design. Great review Lauren, loved seeing these updates and hearing your thoughts! Please do a review on the Allpa 20L!!!
i think most people are pleased to see the water bottle pocket! if not there then you have to fit it inside and take up space, and i dont want things hanging off my beg like a bottle.
@@velyvely6479totally fair, I think I’m just not in that group. When I’m traveling with mine it’s always my carry on bag and goes overhead so my water bottle is kept in my personal item, and like I said I use the side access pocket a ton so I would hate to lose that when upgrading, but if it was in such high demand I’m glad they’re listening to customers for sure!
@@KunderscoreG3 ah ok if you have two bags! yeah i def would do the same. yes, actually it was one of the number one things people asked for (the waterbottle pocket) I keep mine in the pocket of my backpack as it will be heavy then transfer it into my personal bag for the flight like you
I bought the 28L backpack and love it. One minor downside is that the shoulder straps can't be tucked away like they can on the 35L. I usually use my 28L as a personal item since it fits under the front seat storage. If the shoulder straps could be tucked away, that would make it even better!
Great review as always. It would be awesome if you could do a comparison with their del dia version. I heard they're made of different material. And would love your thoughts on it. Thanks
Is the waist belt not removable in the new version? That’s kind of a bummer. I don’t like wearing one at the airport but like being able to use it when I’m not traveling by air. Was considering upgrading since my old one has been on 80-90 trips in the last couple years
Tuckable but not removable. Not my ideal situation either- I can always feel the tucked straps in my lower back. But I guess they don’t want people to lose it, which I bet the numbers on that are high, if they can take it out
One of my gripes on the previous version is it looks weird when not packed in full. The top outer pocket would have more/heavier stuff (quick access items) and would sag on the bottom front section if that part is not packed full. I assume it’s the same for the new version?
I love the updates, and hopefully they have some more subtle colours as this is always what put me off, i got the green one in 2020/21!? and havent used it because of this reason, its just not my style (i ordered it online during lockdown) about the Laptop, I have always wondered if having it at the back like this puts pressure on the screen..... likewise opening it up shell style and the weight coming down on the laptop, especially if you've packed with cubes or have a lot in there
I tried it in in the shop a couple of weeks ago - I really wanted to like it but the chest strap and waist belt have limited operating windows for extension - this bag does not fit comfortably if you are a women's US14 or higher
What are you talking about? Most bacteria dies not long once it is not in a host. There are some that can stay stay potent on surfaces for quite a while sure, but you should be scared about it transferring from an inanimate surface, to another inanimate surface and then what ever you think happens if it’s in your bag.

No load lifters, no compression. Can’t do it.
what would be another alternative with those two features?
pls review the cabinzero adventure pro 42L

Does this model come with the rain cover?
Just bought one. Sad to say it does not include a rain cover
What stores sell a large variety of Cotopaxi in Canada?
Altitude Sports and Canada Luggage Depot are where I find a lot of Cotopaxi stuff
Nice bag but I cringe every time I see used shoes nakedly packed. There’s all kinds of bacteria on the outsole.
Lol 😂 🦠
Wypipo always be doing this…

The phone or keyboard you used to type this comment likely has far more harmful bacteria on it than your shoes.
