I really appreciate that you show models of different sizes wearing bags for scale. Please, NEVER stop doing this as part of your reviews. It’s insanely helpful to see.

I worry about the delamination issue on the Allpas, while I worry about general QC on the bellroys (based on experience).

you should add the black hole mini MLC to the shootout, its the closest competitor to the allpa 😂

Excellent comparison. Geez, the Cotopaxi main bucket looks bigger and the overall capacity seems a bit higher than the Bellroy

I love the Bellroy compartments but biggest "issue" to me is no water bottle pocket. For that I will go for Allpa. But Allpa materials seems have delamination issue.

    • @achoicolate

one has hip belts which pull up the bag causing the pull back factor… the bellroy would do the same if it had hip belts. Just don’t use the hip belts and pull back is gone

    I Have So Many Backpacks!!
    I Bought 2 Cotapaxi Alpas
    (30L & 45L)
for a 13 Day Trip to Hawaii
    for My Husband & I.
    It Was the Only Trip
we ever took them on &
    they Both “Delaminated” so Badly,
    we haven’t used them since.
    Such a waste of money!
    I would NOT Ever Recommend
    the Cotapaxi brand
    because of the Delaminating Problem!
I Also Have a Belroy Apex.
(Not sure they still make it?)
It is by far My Favorite Backpack
    of All time!
It is Definitely My 1st Go to!
It Also Went on That Same Trip
    & Still Looks Brand New
    even though I Have Continued
to use it after Returning Home.
    (However,It is a black color.)
    So funny the you showed
    My Most Disappointing Buy
    & My Best Brand Buy
    in the same video!
P.S. I would NOT Ever buy That light color!

@@dawncrossland3028 The Apex doesn’t suffer from any form of slippage with their harness straps, but the other models such as the venture pack has that issue. I think its a hit and miss depending on what model someone purchases. Apex is also considered the pricier option from their line of bags

I Do Admit that the Apex

I Could Toss All the rest!

Hmm interesting. I’ve had my Allpa duffle for a couple years now and I haven’t had that issue and I use it fairly often. I wonder if it’s a quality control issue /bad batch of bags? Hopefully you contacted Cotopaxi about the issue?

If you say that this fits a passport, please put your passport there when traveling ...
In the spot the most easily accessible and the furthest away from you so you for sure won't notice it being stolen.
Why this annoys me is that you have a platform so that bag makers can find out that we want a pocket for a passport where we would actually put one
