It sounds interesting, but I watched a video about Skillshare earlier and am very spooked by start for free offers. The Skillshare offer is for a month free, but if you don't cancel in less than two weeks, you owe $168 for the full year subscription. You can sometimes get it canceled , one time, but many people have been charged, again for $168, when the year passes, and you only get one refund per lifetime. Yeah , insane. I would need some hefty reassurance that Notion AI isn't all scammy like Skillshare is, imho.
I find chat GPT more useful but for little tasks Notion does it

I'm taking a couple of classes this semester that are still doing the whole "write a discussion post and reply to 2 others every week for 10% of your grade" thing and I know that both Notion AI and ChatGPT are going to save me so much time with outlining the stupid things. I have to say that I literally started using notion when I entered college after watching your videos on it, and it's been 3 years since I have been using it and it's life changing.
I started using practice questions because you said it's a good way to study and I have been acing my classes because of that method.
I also started studying in hour-blocks because I watched ur video on it and realized it works for me too!
I also read the book War Doctor by David Knott because you recommended it in one of your other videos and that book was so good and thrilling.
I also started waking up earlier and going to bed at a reasonable time because you showed your morning schedule and I tried it out and it worked for me too!

First, your keyboard sounds awesome. Like little pebbles. Notion is realy helpful for your productivity. I can already see several uses for me even without using it, so thanks for this demo! Btw, in your field, is there some sort of way for you to utilize image generators like Bluewillow?
It's absolutely amazing! I've been using Notion for more than two and a half years and I already loved it, but their AI is a game-changer. I've been translating and editing research paper I'm co-authoring for the last two days and AI was a huge time-saver. Paraphrasing sections of the text, summarising certain parts, converting to a passive voice.. I could do all that by myself of course, but AI takes something that would take me couple of hours and gives me results in two seconds, and I just have to check if it is correct and if it fits. Not to mention that it's incredibly intuitive.
Isn't this the long term issue? Production of work that isn't completely original? Sure it may be a close approximation of what your work may have been but the more widespread it becomes, the more it reflects underlying programming and its inherent biases. Not to mention, the earlier stages of ones education that it is used, the less likely that it represents or reflects the pupil/person who produced it.
I have no issues with its use on the consumption side for, say, learning or obtaining knowledge etc. As long as you are aware of the limitations and parameters.
On the production side, it could provide significant advantages and promote someone who does not necessarily merit it.
We're moving more into this complex hybrid AI world and it is difficult to know how this plays out. Just look at social media and the outcomes it produces. Not all bad. But certainly things to consider.

@@chomalen I agree, it is a double-edged sword, and very important thing is how it is used. I would never use AI to generate complete text and claim it as my own work, because it removes originality and humanity from the work, and frankly, it's cheating and it's deceptive. But using it to paraphrase small section of my own original text or convert it into passive voice is in my opinion just a time-saving tool. It is still my work and I still need to know the language so I can determine if new version of the text is correct and if it fits rest of the work. Basically, I don't see a problem in AI if it's being used to speed up something that user has adequate skills to do, but I do think it's morally wrong to use AI in order to cheat others into believing that user has adequate skill set and that produced work is original and personal.

@@zlatan_2197 yea man idk if this is going to get rid of original thought. I can see future schooling doing more in person testing and paper pencil testing and writing in the future to counteract this but in the workforce and business this won’t get rid of original thought, just 10x our productivity.
Excellent work, Nassir! I have been using Notion since 2018 and Google Bard (Google's experimental AI) for about 3 months. Bard is incredible. I saw Notion AI.... but didn't really give it much thought. However, your video was brilliant to help me understand the amazing benefits of leveraging Notion content/project organization with AI... very helpful! This integration will really help me perhaps even more than Bard. Thank you very much!

When I was writing papers without even the internet in the 70s I always started with an outline, much like this. Oh, the time I could have saved 😅
Using Notion everyday and have been ignoring the AI stuff for a good amount of time. I guess now it’s time to give it a try! Anyway, missing the “peace ✌🏻” at the end of your almost every video… this one feels strange without it 😅

I'd love to see a video what value Notion AI can provide on top of what ChatGTP, Bard, or Perplexity AI are already doing. So far the only advantage that I see compared to those standard tools is, that it is easier to build on the content that you already have in Notion. Anything else?

My dream has always been to study medicine. I live in Brazil and here it is very expensive. I turned 27 and sometimes I think I'm too old to start medical school. I am living a dilemma and I would like to overcome it.

they are one in the same. Notion AI is just used the Chat GPT API. Notion doesn't have the resources to build something as big as Chat-GPT

I have a genuine query and i would be more than grateful if you consider and answer this.
Since you have been working with productivity related to studies, and of course you have posted a lot about studies and concentration. Could you pleas tell me is it possible to cover 4 books related to different subjects + revising them of humanities background and then sitting in an exam to genuinely pass it in less than 50 days. (Given the fact that the subjects are not alien, just have not read them before with so much depth as read during an exam.
