I believe it all depends on if the babies are being cared for with human intervention or not, an animal that is being fed and taken care of by humans can't survive in the wild because they would not be able to hunt effectively or look for food. That is just my take on it.

That's irrelevant. Would it be okay to throw you in the wild if you were raised in the wild? Is it okay to raise a human in the wild despite having modern civilization?
These are the issues you have to deal with if you want to treat other animals as equals to our species.
