Craig Saffoe I fell in love with red pandas at the National Zoo and you're right. I'm now an ambassador of them! That's why I wrote "Rojo, The Baby Red Panda at the Zoo." It's great to see them in this video and even better to learn that 2 surviving cubs were born on May 27, 2014! Congratulations!!! When will they be introduced back to the public in Washington, D.C?

Now I LOVE this zoo, and, yes, they do much more than most zoos in America do in terms of saving species, but I wouldn't say they've taken the lead yet, not of the Bronx Zoo and WCS at least. Not that it's a contest.
