@@talxntstv yeah but its the truth. One of my co-workers was black and had cops called on him constantly compared to the other door to door salesmen on my team
Didn’t believe this worked. But today was my first day out I was out for 5 hours and did 2 jobs that took me an hour and a half each for a total of 300. Gotta keep it pushin
All the points on salesmanship especially doing door to door are extremely true. As someone who’s in a similar field of business as you it takes a long time to get “good” at selling your service and getting told no is initially very hard to deal with but something you NEED to hear.
Awesome video. I’m doing solar sales in Florida and I find that d2d is more mental than anything. This video is raw uncut and very helpful to see. Thank you man
Been doing D2D for almost two years now, had lots of success for the first year then my numbers slowly started going down as time went on. This video has helped me change my perspective for the better and since I first watched it about a month ago I have been getting back to where I want to be. Thanks for the video 🙏🏼
Extremely refreshing video brother Oliver! I've been in sales for the better part of 30 years now. From door knocking cold calls you name it. For anyone getting into sales now and or having been in the game great reminder of what works :) Take this to heart and you will be decades ahead of most. Let's Go!
had a bad day today, went out for 3-4 hours, right after it rained and made no sales, probably knocked 20-40 doors, no bites. Needed to see this, thanks G
Really got to see some great perseverance!! Great stuff Oliver! My plan as a 18 year old is to do this all summer! I watch a crap ton of your videos before I go out every time. I have went out 3 times the first time I worked a total of 5 hours knocked 65 doors made $500 the second time knocked 75 doors the day prior and made $1,000 after cleaning them that next day then the 3rd time I knocked 75 doors and got nothing but I made the mistake of being in a trashy neighborhood and I was handing out cards way to soon. Please let me know how I can get better thanks for all your content
Amazing story brother. If you want to keep getting better you need to treat your career in sales and business as a doctor or lawyer would treat their career. You can make far more money than a doctor or lawyer with half the amount of work and no student loans.
I’ve seen a lot of hate on this guy, but I see a young man like myself who has discovered skillsets and not only does he use those skills by himself but he helps others to do the same and has created another business out of the one… This is how it’s done.
I am a door to door sales expert, trainer and general manager in Australia and i will be showing this to my team. I preach the same everyday and hope hearing it from someone else live in the field will resonate with them 🙏 🙌 💯
Tell me you rent and I’ll continue pitching you lol. When a homeowner tells me they “rent” I create urgency and collect information of who OWNS the home. I continue asking questions and pitch them as the actual homeowner!
I think they don’t come to your door if you have a no soliciting sign. Or at least they aren’t supposed to but there might be some out there that won’t care and will still knock. At my place, I just don’t open the door for anyone ever and that pretty much solves the issue. Not because I don’t like salesmen. Everyone is trying to hustle out here, but because I just don’t want to waste 10 minutes of my time listening to a pitch I’m going to end up saying no to anyways. Saves me time and it saves the salesman time as well so they can go use that time to close on someone else
Facts bro I sold cleaner door to door and was a master I seen you and Josh! Now I have a window cleaning business, and you guessed it I rely on my D2D sales!!!!
I can’t argue with his success but the one with thr dog and the one where he said ”we don’t need the job” I feel like were handled very poorly and almost rude.
Bro with that older couple that was a hard watch, it’s sad to see people who struggle with closing the door on salesman. You have the correct mindset but that pitch needs work. It just felt like repeating the same stuff she already said no to without adding any other value
Have you ever tried selling roofs? Some companies pay commission off profit margins. You could make a ton of money with your energy and help people fix up their houses!
Here's my attitude in a nutshell: I know that statistically on every single street there is a very receptive person who will be happy to see me and who would love to buy from me. All I need to do if find them. It's like a treasure hunt. In fact, when people open the door and immediately say, "not interested", inside I'm thankful because they didn't waste my time. I'm on a hunt to find my customer. I know they're behind one of these doors! Gotta knock them all to find them.
Honestly I’m not sure if it’s the pitch and much as the product like I sell roofs so no homeowner can do it themselves but most don’t want to think about it, selling window cleaning is just difficult to paint that picture of value
Most of the time those people are the ones how are the smartest with their money, not saying they will say no but it will be harder to get a sale off of them as opposed to middle class people who will literally dish out their money bc of their poor spending habits.
Brosef!!! Hahaha! Dude. You surely started selling alarms. That’s the patented LDS Vivint shuffle you did there. Hahahaha. Oh man. I’m sure you’re the best salesman in the world, clearly. Most of us grow up though and quit shoving shit down good people of our own community’s throat. Most of us transition into selling things people actually want rather than forcing sales. Shame you haven’t figured that one out yet. You speak so eloquently about God and the mindset one needs for the best day. I mean, you’re right at the precipice.
I appreciate the mindset you have for sales, but I have to agree with david over here. At the end of the day of course window cleaning is useful, and pushing past a soft "no" is exactly what you have to do when selling a product or service, but there is no need to try and sell a service to someone that clearly states at least 4 -6 times in the span of 3 minutes that they do it themselves and enjoy such activity. Difference between pushing past a soft "no" and just being way too pushy hahaha.
idk what it is but I think this guy is extremely awkward in his pitch and hes like kind of rude lol... like why do you keep responding to people that you dont need the work? how's that helping or going to get you jobs?
@@nautica0199 you just overcome objections and if they say no you just move on. Being pushy isn’t how all salesman are, that’s just your experience with inexperienced salesman.
I keep watching but I haven’t seen a single time where his pushiness after the first no has worked. People are just trying to be polite and not cut him off, but he clearly burns through their goodwill with nothing to show for it. He spends all that time grinding them down to their last no when he could have knocked on 5 more doors in the same amount of time.
