8:45 "If you're really old school, the 8 track tape..." I remember the 8 track tape. Does that make me old or just old school. lol! Great lesson! Thanks so much. You've got a friend and also a subscriber!
Good lesson on the chords. There are a lot of timing requirements for this song and there are also a lot of riffs to add in. I want to add something regarding the transition of Am7 to Bm7 in the second half of each verse. I watched JT play this and what he does is a very cool move. He takes the Am7 form and slides it up 2 frets without a bar chord leaving the G string open. It sounds good, it is the way that he plays the song and it is really easy to do. Also the D7sus4 that follows the Bm7 has a hammer on the 2-3-0 frets first string followed by a walk down bass on 5th string - 3rd fret, 2nd fret to open. These are easy things to add in and they make the song sound really good.
Beautiful Garry
Very very well explained..
Many thanks

Sorry, I'm confused. Which key did James Taylor play and sing this C. King version in. Some say Amajor and others Gmajor. ?
Hi great lesson , the G with a B bass at 6.00 minutes , is that same fingering as E minor 7 ?
What you do with the right hand is optional? Mind if I pick my nose?
