Many thanks for this. Just bought one of these and on the face of fairly straightforward. But I have to say that setting up the schedules has been incredibly frustrating. Seems to have a mind of it's own with changes not being saved etc. Think I got there in the end by setting up Period 1 for the morning, Period 2 with a 'dummy' time (in our case 16.00 to 16.00) and then Period 3 for the evening (16.00 onwards). Fingers crossed!
Thanks. Still trying to get the hang of what these things actually do and how they work. I have lived in a tropical region all my life, we never used/needed stuff like central heating, thermostats, fireplaces, room radiators, etc. Anyways, my question is, after fiddling with the thermostat like you've done (I'll probably just copy exactly what you've done), what level should I turn my rooms' radiators to? And also, the central heating stuff in the kitchen that boils and sends out hot water in the taps, what temperature should I set the room radiators to on it? All helps appreciated.
Love your video 😍 Well. I just got one of there. Have discovered one rather inconvenient feature/limitation. It appears that Home and Away/Asleep temperatures must have at least 1⁰C difference. You can not have Home 21.5⁰C and Away or Asleep 21⁰C. However, you can make that difference smaller in Override mode. As an engineer I would love to know the reason behind it. We are humans and we are different, however humans ... when in doors live in a consistent temperature within very small margins.
If I time heating for the morning say 06-30 to 08-30 and use the bottom symbol to switch heating off manually at night ,how does my morning time kick in,can anyone explain
I have one downstairs which seems to control most of the radiators then one in my bedroom for my radiator. Battery is on low, there is nowhere to open it, no screws or clips to get to the battery. Help!
Do I need to have the man in the house for the schedule to work as I turned it off this morning with a schedule, saved and it never came on. Also if it is the case that the man should always be in the house dose that mean every time the temp drops will it fire up the boiler and bring the heating on ? Many thanks sophie
Can you set this to keep the boiler on constanly despite having reached the desired temp or is that not possible. I don't like the boiler turning on and off each time the temp drops
Cannot work this. Just programed it to be at 19 when I go out but then when I pressed it again it said it was set to go on at 15. Surely you don't have to programme it every time?
EXACTLY what I want to do, and I just can't fathom it out. I find this to be way too complicated. There's like a billion things to understand, and unless you're a heating engineer it's just far too difficult
@@davidlawlor4267actually I’m hopeless with stuff like this but it’s very easy. Go to you tube TPone-b and danfoss explains it easily and after playing with it and relooking at you tube a few times it’s rediculasly easy
When I’m away I pressed the bottom button, but I still got charged for hearing why is that? Is it possible to turn off completely so I won’t get charged?
I'm looking to take mine off so I can put wallpaper up and then put it back on, as the wallpaper from before is stuck behind it and I can't see any other way to get it off, please help it's model ..danfoss tp7001 thankyou
Does anyone know why my thermostat is suddenly stuck on a frost warning? Won't let me clear the warning as it says issue still exists. I had to change the batteries this morning and then the frost warning came on, meaning I can't manually turn heating off without turning my boiler off
What does the +1 +2 +3 mean on the man in the house symbol? Just moved into a new house with this thermostat fitted, my boiler keeps firing on and off all the time
This is a crock.... I programmed my old Honeywell no problem, but this thing beats me. It gives only three time zones, 1,2,3 and then refers to a.m and p.m. which doesn’t marry up. The pressure sensitive pads are temperamental as well.
Thank you. I was never given a demo I don’t think I got the separate unit either. My battery is on low so I just need to know how to do that. Thanks for the demo though. I’m one step closer to having my heating on as it’s not coming on atm.
literally couldnt figure any of this out on my own. moved into a rented apartment with no manual! so that's what those buttons on the right are for!! >< didnt know what it was called but the people who own the building sent me this video so at least i have that now and can look for a manual to understand the rest of it...
update: why is the only user guide for it in latvian. what. well at least this guide tells me some things, but i really dont understand the programming of it.
Got two of these in the new house I’m buying, first thing I’ll do is rip them out ugly looking things huge on the wall and not Wi-Fi controllable, old technology that’s no longer relevant in the modern age of smart controls.

Hi. Did this work?
On mine it doesn't show the wireless logo in the corner why is that? also am struggling to understand the Chrono function, hope you can help.

There is a little button under that you can push using a screw driver or pen and it all pops open.

Looking for the answer do I need the man in the house for schedule??
Don’t think so. As long as you’ve set the time parameters needed.
Can you set this to keep the boiler on constanly despite having reached the desired temp or is that not possible. I don't like the boiler turning on and off each time the temp drops
Have a blank screen on the above , do you know what could be the issue ?
I've got exactly the same one however it doesn't work
Brilliant mate, helped sort my mums heating out!

it says low heat on display and i have no hot water or heating why ?
Is there no way to turn on the heating with one button and it stays on until turn off
EXACTLY what I want to do, and I just can't fathom it out. I find this to be way too complicated. There's like a billion things to understand, and unless you're a heating engineer it's just far too difficult
Set the temperatures am and pm at 21
Yes it’s possible if you set man in house temperature to 23 and man out of house temperature 10 and then just use these two buttons for on and off

Manual mode and set temperature about 21/22 it should go on and off all day to keep temperature mine doesnt it's crap

How do you get wifi on this or does the TPOne B not have this option? Thanks
How do you get it off of external sensor fail?
Can I connect a bathroom air temp stat to the TP1 does it have 12v auxiliary connection. Thanks

Look underneath it, just to the right of the display, if you pop a small thin screwdriver in there it should pivot off the backplate

I have the same now but mine says window is open but I don’t have a window sensor on my new house 🙈
How do you replace the batteries on this thermostat? Is it single zone, or if there is a thermostat?
Just got this and cannot work it. Comes on and off where it likes
What does the +1 +2 +3 mean on the man in the house symbol? Just moved into a new house with this thermostat fitted, my boiler keeps firing on and off all the time
Did you figure out what these mean? Our boiler is also firing on/off when it hits temperature, and not remaining on.
It means hours (sorry its 8months later)
Can get it on for an hour or up to three instead of waiting for schedule
1-1 hour2-2 hours 3- hours
