    Really useful video, as the device is very confusing. Hi,
      I would select then:
      P02 02 - ON/OFF standart operation. Boiler is ON till set temperature is reached.
      and
      P03 01 - Normal start control.
      Out of all of these settings:
      P01 01 - Manual temperature operation
      P01 02 - Schedule timer 5/2 day
      P01 03 - Schedule timer 24h
      P02 01 - ON/OFF Load compensation is enabled. ON/Off load compensation is a feature of temperature control products such as room thermostats and programmable thermostats.
      On/Off load compensation is a proven method of minimising energy use by calculating the demand from a thermostat. As the temperature approaches the required setting, the boiler will fire for shorter periods of time, ensuring a constant temperature is maintained. This not only enhances comfort levels, but also uses less energy. On/Off load compensating products are ideal for use with modern systems in well-insulated houses. Recommended for use with gas condensing boilers. Thermostat prevents boiler working for too long period of time. In this way, the heating works more efficiently, as the return temperature of the heating return is lowered. Condensation is better. Less gas is consumed.
      P02 02 - ON/OFF standart operation. Boiler is ON till set temperature is reached.
      P03 01 - Normal start control.
      P03 02 - Delayed start of heating. TP5001 thermostat includes an optional delay start feature to hold off the heating for a time on mild days when the room temperature at the start of an event is close to the programmed value. Recommended for use with gas condensing boilers in order to use less gas. In other words, it is an economic mode.
      P03 03 - Optimised start control. TP5001 thermostat includes an optional optimum start control. This feature allows you to set the time at which you require a room temperature by. The thermostat then calculates how soon before the event time the system must be turned up to ensure that the room is at the temperature by the required time. Heating can be started maximum 120 min before schedule.
      P04 - Temperature limitation high
      P05 - Temperature limitation low
      P06 - Frost protect temperature
      P07 - Away mode temperature
      P08 01 - Timer display 24h
      P08 02 - Timer display 12h
      P09 - Service due setup. Installer setting only
      P10 00 - RF Pairing mode OFF (TP5001RF only)
      P10 01 - RF Pairing mode ON (TP5001RF only)
      P11 01 - Auto daylight saving ON
      P11 02 - Auto daylight saving OFF

    07:00 - 18C
    10:00 - 18C
    17:30 - 19C
    21:00 - 19C
    However, after event 4 (21:00), the boiler still switches when the temperature goes below 19C. Is this normal as I expect no heating after 21:00. Is the boiler not meant to turn off after 21:00 overnight and not come back on until 07:00?

    Your video was so clear and thorough thank you! I just have a question. I used your video yesterday to set my thermostat on holiday mode. I set it to 16 degrees celcius. I live in a new build building and the rooms are warm even with no heating (around 19 degrees). I come back from holiday on Friday. I am scared that holiday mode will malfunction by itself and the radiators will get too hot and explode or cause a fire. Do you think this can happen or do you think it is safe on holiday mode?

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  13 дней назад

      Holiday mode is nothing special. It is just an easy way of setting a temperature. It is good, house is well insulated as it keeps 19C for a long time. 16C is safe temperature for most of buildings. If you have some doubts there might be some problems with electricity, gas supply, heat supply ... Thermostat or system with remote control could be an option. I would then recommend: Danfoss Icon 2 or Devi SMART thermostat.

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  9 месяцев назад +1

      Usually if heating is not needed, boiler switches to hot water preparation. If hot water is not needed, hot water tank is full of hot water. Boiler goes to stand by mode. If steam goes out - boiler is on. Please check your set temperature and real temperature measured by thermostat. If set temperature is lower you should see waves symbol and boiler should be on. Otherwise boiler should be off (if hot water is not needed) To check if installation is right you can switch from scheduling mode to manual temperature mode.

    How does manual mode work?

    • @heatingsolutions123
      @heatingsolutions123  2 месяца назад

      Manual mode means your room temperature has to be set manually. Usually 22C. And room temperature set point (22C) will not change during a day or a week. If you want to reduce energy usage on night time, or while leaving you have to decrease it also manually.

      @@mariasajkova4412 you need schedule for 24 hours or just stable set temperature?
      This setting will maintain set semperature with no changes:
      P01 01 - Manual temperature operation
      This setting will let you make own temperature schedule with comfort and economy temperatures. All week days will be with same schedule:
      P01 03 - Schedule timer 24h

    Way to overly complicated, what happened to the simpler days struggling with this thermostat atm

      I would then: activate display back light to be on, hold "M" for six sec. and select P01 - 01. You will have Manual temperature adjustment. With < > select temperature you want. Thermostat will maintain it.

    I have my temp set to 35’c however my heaters arnt turning on and the temp is staying at 16’c what have I done wrong. (It set on manual mode)

      From thermostat side in case you see "waves" heating should be on. Otherwise something is wrong with wiring. Try to go below 16C, and check is heating started. This would mean you need to connect from NC to NO or from NO to NC. COM on both cases should be connected.
