In case thermostats show higher temperature comparing to than what they are set. Heating should be off already. Heat most probably is coming from sun radiation. Barely from neighbours that much. There is nothing particular you should do to switch heating off as it is already off. Just in case you can set lower or minimum temperature.

P01 set 01 - manual control. Rise temperature higher than room. If you have floor temperature sensor at P02 set 03 and you will see floor temperature.

For underfloor it is more common to use NC. In case electricity fails or automatics - your floor will be secured. And as concrete holds heat you will not get frozen for a cuite long time to fix the problem.

If you know exactly how much litres/min you need for each cirquit you can adjust with flow meter. Another way is using presetting as on video.

You can select any time you would like to. How to, is in this video somewhere from 6:30....

Usually if heating is not needed, boiler switches to hot water preparation. If hot water is not needed, hot water tank is full of hot water. Boiler goes to stand by mode. If steam goes out - boiler is on. Please check your set temperature and real temperature measured by thermostat. If set temperature is lower you should see waves symbol and boiler should be on. Otherwise boiler should be off (if hot water is not needed) To check if installation is right you can switch from scheduling mode to manual temperature mode.

@@heatingsolutions123 thanks. Yes I've currently had it in manual mode for nearly 48 hours which does seem to have it working perfectly fine. So I'm not sure why it wasn't working fine in 5/2 setting.

Setting on flow meters is another way of circiut balancing. Where do they get needed flow to set? Setting all flow meters at same flow would be a mistake if circuits are not same length.

Probably you have underfloor sensor. Please check setting P02 SET 01 - only room control, 02 - room and floor, 03 - only floor. I would set P02 and 01 for test if it helps. SET temperature is the temperature thermostat is going to maintain. Real room temperature is shown after you have pushed once "<" or ">". Calibration setting adjusts real measured temperature. I hope this explains the issue.

Might be you are using P02 01 - ON/OFF Load compensation is enabled. ON/Off load compensation is a feature of temperature control products such as room thermostats and programmable thermostats. On/Off load compensation is a proven method of minimising energy use by calculating the demand from a thermostat. As the temperature approaches the required setting, the boiler will fire for shorter periods of time, ensuring a constant temperature is maintained. This not only enhances comfort levels, but also uses less energy. On/Off load compensating products are ideal for use with modern systems in well-insulated houses. Recommended for use with gas condensing boilers. Thermostat prevents boiler working for too long period of time. In this way, the heating works more efficiently, as the return temperature of the heating return is lowered. Condensation is better. Less gas is consumed. Please try setting: P02 02 - ON/OFF standard operation. Boiler is ON till set temperature is reached. And setting: P03 01 - Normal start control.

Yes, for temporarely problem solving. Open on max or close fully. Complete solution would be installing flow and return pipes properly.

@@heatingsolutions123 yes I think it's the one you linked in that comment, I've tried that and it still does nothing, the power button doesn't do anything and none of the other buttons do anything, it literally stays on the same screen (blue tint to it) with the room temperature showing and the frost icon showing. Any ideas? Thanks

Thermal actuators are reliable, may last 10-30 years, has no noise. 5 x 2W x 12h x 30days= 3,6 kWh - not a lot.

I have battery operated TRVs at the moment and looking at these wired versions as a good alternative. The smart TRVs are not strong enough long term, requires batteries and have "smart crap" in them making them not do what I want.
