Arrrr my fav you tuber has uploaded, YES!!!!! Kitchen looks amazing, keep the extra up stand, it looks finished. You are one of the few you tube persons I watch who doesn’t shout “gifted” - it’s refreshing to see someone funding their own home stuff like the majority have to 😉. Your mum is lovely driving around looking for the best spots, great locations. It’s gotta be love when your man runs up and down a cold beach carrying loads of stones for you 😍 keeper. Congratulations on 100k. Love the kitchen. My husband and I built a house 2 years ago and I put gray and white cabinets in my kitchen. Tied them together with a quartz countertop that looks like marble. Marble look-alike will be timeless.

Your kitchen looks good. We renovated our kitchen and about the upstand, i was advised by our interior/kitchen designer that since it will be against the wood cabinet, afraid all the dust that hidden behind the tile will creat problems. So we didn't do it 😊

Love the new kitchen, ours is almost exactly the same, even down to the worktops and induction hob 😆 The cornice gives such a nice finishing touch once it’s on. Congrats on reaching 100k! X

However my advice would be whichever way you go to balance the other side against the pantry over where the wall ovens are with the same treatment. Can’t wait to see the space finished with the dining and living room areas.🌈💖

Wow that kitchen is gorgeous!! Really modern but love the classic touches like the handles! I would keep the upstand, it continues that line all the way across the kitchen ☺️. Whilst I totally get this probably isn't your main goal in renovating this house but the profit that you make if/when you come to sell will be amazing, it's already looking so beautiful ♥️ xx

I loooove how the kitchen is coming along. Yes, I like the chrome handles with soft gray. I think the theme you are going for is sweet. Ummm...the backsplash piece you asked about is a tough one. I say leave it off.
