I, too, love Laura Mercier: primer w/SPF, powder, eyeshadow primer and blush. We pay a premium for this brand in the US, but I thinks that’s because of tariffs - ours aren’t separated out like VAT, so it’s hard to tell how much they are.
LM also has an undereye setting (“blurring”) powder to use over the undereye concealer, it’s good, too, and takes the sheen down a bit.

I hope this GH Rise will help me, I suck at curling my hair. Charlotte, you seem to stretch the curls out a bit after curling, doesn’t this make them fall out faster? I was always told that the curl should be supported in the hand until cool, but that’s what takes so long-it would be great if I didn’t have to do that.
Think I might have to pick up one of those jumpsuits from ASOS for work video calls x

How long does it normally take you to do your hair like that with the rise? Also do you find it easier than doing it with flat irons? I struggle with flat irons and was considering the rise as an alternative.
When I used to go into the office I used to buy those rhythm 108 bars from the canteen as a treat, I had no idea they were vegan! They are really tasty, one of the many things I miss about not going into work these days. X
I think it gives a more bouncy look than straighteners, takes me about 5-10 mins usually! They’re so good aren’t they! Would never have known they were vegan... so impressed! Xx

Charlotte, do you know your color season, or whether you’re a cool-tone or warm tone? Are your eyes brown or hazel? They look like a cool, grayish brown, but it’s so hard to tell eye color on camera. I’m guessing that you are a Winter, cool-toned, relatively high-contrast. It would help me judge the colors of the clothes and makeup you wear, for my own coloring (Summer, cool, low-contrast/muted), thanks so much! ❤️
