I will buy this course tomorrow. Amazing tutorial❤👌👌👌👌👌👌. I couldn't take my eyes off your video and found it really engaging Thanks a lot, Chamferzone.
Yes, I love Marmoset Toolbag. Always have always will. It's the one software that I never regret having to pay for newest versions :) As you say, they have fair pricing too. Glad you like the tutorials!
Happy to hear it!! :) Yes the AK started it all, it's crazy to think that it's already been a few years. To me feels like yesterday. Most of the techniques also still apply today fortunately. Only difference would be that I'd use the remesher for making the AK highpoly.
+ ChamferZone Time and time again, whenever I needed help, right at the time you appeared like a guardian angel without me even asking you. I can never thank you enough! Your tactics of fearlessly going ahead with the entire game asset creation and finishing procedure really helped me push hard without panicking. Thanks, Tim.
Great stuff Tim! As always! I'll be sure to get this one soon.. even though I'm not using Blender... yet. But will try it soon. Your tuts are the best. There is nothing else like it in the market. You really do make a difference! So thank you!!
For anyone having issues with your model not looking right after selecting roughness/metal maps make sure the channel is actually set to roughness / metalness as opposed to gloss / specular.
Hi guys why my QBlocker dont work ? i install the zip folder but nothing happens, really piss me off everytime when i start to learn 3d this small fails wont let me got futher ....
Got som strange artifacts on the grip in substance. You can see the quads and triangles when pulling the light back and forth. Looks like the low poly shines trhough. Someone knows why? Cant see it in Tims tutorial ... looks pretty smooth there.
Hey, ChamferZone I have bought your UE4 Ultimate Fps Weapons Pack a long time ago. Now I have noticed that the pack is not up on the UE4 marketplace. But can I still use the models in my game?
Hey, I see that you are using Marmoset Toolbag 4. If I were to get this tutorial, would I be able to achieve most of the same render quality from MT 3? I am in the midst of making the transition from maya to blender and looking for some good tutorials to help me with that transition.
Hey Tim. So here is my problem with this course. When I make a FBX for texturing I need to join grip and other parts of revolver. The problem is that my grip with 60 degrees smoothing and other parts - 30 degrees. When I join them the whole revolver_body become 30 degree and the grip looks awful. I dont know how to solve it
Not sure why, but MT4 gives me worse results then MT3. Whenever I pan the camera around in 4 the model looks great but as soon as I stop panning the whole model gets super dark and flat, I can't figure out why but for now I'll just stick to 3.
Hey Iso, MT4 takes a bit of getting used to but the results are without a doubt superior to MT3. You just need a bit of patience getting the hang out of the lights. As you can see here in this tutorial I don't use a lot of lights. It's all very powerful and yes always takes a moment to let the scene load. In that sense it became a bit more performance heavy you could say but also with superior results!
I remember watching your ak modeling video 4 years ago when i was a student, now i am working professionally, thank you tim
Amazing tutorial. Please, make more. Keep up your amazing work. Thank you so much.

Great stuff! I have to laugh though, you sound like that IT guy on 'Better Call Saul' who was selling prescription drugs to Nacho Varga.

Hi, Tim. When will the new tutorial be released?
Photographers spend so much time trying to eliminate Chromatic aberration and you add it on purpose :P

After merging the grip with the other parts of the revolver, you can reassign smoothing values to the grip area. That will solve the issue.
Does this include the final .tbscene file?
what hardware do you have in this video?
