We bought this trailer for a 6500-mile road trip this summer. The trailer was purchased in 2020. Pros: Plenty of room inside. Easy to tie down to lid, if needed. Tracked really well behind the bike. Cons: The tires that came on it are absolute crap. We had to replace them at 2500 miles. Fortunately, we found a great family-owned tire shop in Wyoming that had the tires we needed. The replacement tires showed little wear after 4000 miles. The trailer leaks like a sieve. The culprit is the top rack on the lid. We got the cover with it, but it is not usable while moving. We found the using the cover while parked created a lot of condensation inside the trailer. We spent a couple of afternoons drying things out. Solutions: Take the rack off and reinstall it using a silicone sealant around the penetrations. Replace the tires well before they look worn (just do it right after your purchase). Look at the Aluma MCT vs this one. I wish I had made a different choice. Anyone want to buy a leaky trailer with good tires?
Thanks for the update. I just bought one it's still in the delivery truck being delivered, I will certainly Make sure the lid does not leak before installing it.
Great video! What's funny is, I have a 2014 Chieftain, Springfield Blue, myself. Just bought a Lumina trailer, and am waiting for delivery. This is a perfect video, so I'll know what to expect, when I get it out on the road. Thanks for this great video! Really helped me see what I'll be dealing with! Ride safe!
i have an indian scout but my next motorcycle will be an indian roadmaster ...and im looking for a trailer like that ... good video and many miles , greetings from mexico
You mentioned you took a hit on your fuel mileage. Can you expand on that? We are considering one for our third cross country trip, est 7000 miles with tent camping.
Those bunch of logs are puny.load it up with bricks or bags of cement or sand. Then do the drag test. This will be real test with load. Cuz if it can take that weight then you can estimate what's will be actual drag with it usuals that you take for a trip as it will be likely lighter in weight.

How hard is to stop .and stop to make turn
What hitch do you have. The one I have is to thick. Can't put saddle bags back on
How much did it affect your gas mileage?
