I don’t know if I serve pinpoint or platform style 🙂. Tripod time.
Almost time for another zoom lesson! Strange thing about that recent lesson: I use the tips more and to greater effect than when just watching videos-the same tips seem more relevant.

Oh man, my wife video tape me, and I was making this exact mistake..I have corrected it, and my serve is better almost immediatley.

Wow...I never heard this tip before. Been struggling with back leg going everywhere. Can't fix it so I was trying to change to platform but after four decades serving pinpoint it's too unnatural and can't stop back leg moving. Can't wait to try this.

Brilliant. I've tried so many times to correct this error not realising that in order to fix it I need to turn my front foot. I'm excited to give this a try next time I play

What do you think about John Isner's left foot step along the baseline before he brings the right foot forward? As in, is this something you recommend to rec players?

In wouldn’t recommend it. But I also wouldn’t tell a player to stop doing it if they like it and it’s comfortable.

Hi coach, what's the weight distrubution % wise? When I try pinpoint, I feel 100% weight is on left leg and makes my left knee hurt. How do you keep weight on right foot?
