@@DEAD-Al_x Honestly I would only ever recommend just swapping the SSD for now. You can even fit a full size one in there, if you shave a bit of plastic off... Some mods have been done already, haha.
Theoretically you should be able to boost up to 43 and potentially sustain that high With the kun though they'd be using then7840u so it is a little more forgiving and open than the z1e
Define "safe" generally speaking when it comes to overclocking, outside of manufacturer spec. It comes with inherent risks. You can damage your hardware by doing this. Not to mention the extra heat in the battery. That is why it is necessary to set a custom fan curve. It can be finicky at times. If your fan* curve isn't applying switch to performance mode then back to manual mode. Edit:typo

When I set the IGPU clock to 2750MHz, Nier Replicant got stuck on 20fps, I closed the game and run the app to rise the clock, it crashed my sistem and I could never open the x86 program anymore, even repairing him and windows desktop or downloading again, the app doesn´t work anymore
@@dizeroo did you remove everything completely related to it? Uninstall through windows? I haven't messed around with it since the vid, so something may have broken it. I'll try it out this weekend and get back to you
So it seems like no matter what, the CPU will still downclock after a few minutes right? It's just treating the adjusted voltage as a boost? Not a permanent power limit, right?
@@WinDeckTech not sure if something changed in the application in the new version, but I tested this last week and it was not working with the manual mode set in AC. I would advise users to monitor their temperatures carefully

I still can't get this thing to keep 43W constantly, no matter how I set the profiles. My AC manual profile is maxed out - fans are set to 100%, PLs' as high as possible. I choose the manual profile, then I crank up the wattage in the utility to 44W and after a while it drops to 30 anyway :-(
It seems to still either be triggering at some point to drop it back down to 30 but then sometimes, not at all and I can get a locked 43. Try playing with different tdp ranges if you haven't already. 31-39

It's not maintaining the TDP it's going down to 30 watt because bios instructions are always taking over. So it's kinda useless.
I'm tempted to try this but I'd rather wait for braver souls to test it and provide the community work known good settings.

Because you still need cpu power. You are trying to push all of the power. Or a lot of it to the cpu

Locking the GPU that high will starve the cpu for power

I will in future emulation videos where it will help. In day to day usage you won't notice a difference. If anything, worse performance.

It will boost up to 60, for a brief second. However it will then down clock to 43W and hold there.

Then turn on the tdp control and change it to your desired level.
How did you control the fans with the application?
Set a manual fan curve in your operating control in armoury crate.
Make a manual tdp profile, then to the bottom. This will still apply the fan curve.
