    Nice! I see grafts as something beautiful, an art that can be used to further express one self. Makes sense my mind didn't go that unwilling way as I'm the mad scientist. I can bring people closer to having the body and abilities they desire or that were denied to them by birth. Grafts are the best!

      lol this along with the potion or the ritual that allows you to change An ancestry lets you do absolutely anything you want to with your character (except class)

    So grafts are going to be great for my next character, which is a zombie back-alley doctor rogue skilled in medicine of course that uses a giant scalpel (reflavored spear or something idk yet) that wants to be able to bring back people to life without any magical means. I am taking a little inspiration of faust in guilty gear series.

      kickass idea. Centaur, Medic Archetype, even Merfolk or Fleshwarp would work well for that idea.

    "Willing" is to make sure another player can't force a different player (or GM can't force a PC) to use the grafts. Body horror as it is makes for a written safety rule.

      @@WisdomCheck I'm one of those players with horror stories about GMs doing weird things with player characters. I wish the wording wasn't necessary, but sometimes it's what it takes to force a GM/Player to think about their actions and ask for permission to do it.

    • @WisdomCheck

    I really loving the idea of Grafts, feel really sad for the fixed DC ones though like Bristling Spines, becomes obsolete so fast and with it being a more "permanent" item it feels extra bad compared to other fixed DC items

    • @WisdomCheck
      @WisdomCheck  4 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I agree. I think it should definitely be based on the character class DC or spell DC whichever is higher. That's an easy adjustment to make. Just talk to your GM.
      You can also go full cyborg with it and act like they're changeable components. That seems like a very fun cyber fantasy feel like Shadowrun.
