2nd story - It sounds like there is no evidence of assault caused by OP. If he has text messages of her admitting to the loyalty prank that can show how unstable the girlfriend is and that she has a history of lying. I believe he should be fine. Let her embarrass herself in court and in front of all her family

Aaron sounds on the narcissist spectrum at the very least and what they will do is be an absolute nightmare to their partner but hold a flawless facade for anyone else they interact with.
Narcissists are VERY likely to has sex addition issues so I think you hit this right on the head. All signs point to him having a sex dis regulation of some sort. Investing in a hookup van, getting hookers, and going into debt for sexual gratification are all HUGE red flags for sex addiction
Or have a something with narcissistic traits. Finally narrowed my mother down to histrionic personality disorder which is a wild ride and she did wildly narcissistic things.

OPs husband doesnt have the mental real estate to help aaron... but if he really wants aaron to "do better" and improve... he needs to have a sit down with aaron and tell it to him straight that he has to change if they wanna maintain a relationship. Some people never change... but some people just need others to call them out on their BS before they can change.

So,just my opinion, you cannot learn to be an extrovert. You can learn to be more outgoing, but if you are introverted, social interaction is an energy drainer.

The first story: My heart breaks for Jennifer (1st story). It sounds like she is housing and feeding an adult who is constantly criticizing her while spending what little money he has on prostitutes. What a catch. What a real stand up person to take advice from. Makes me wonder how good his advice really are? Is he one of those people who makes a mess out of his life but always knows exactly how other people should lead their lives?

Hearing the added babies cry after you said they had a still born made me feel really uncomfortable. That's a really heartbreaking situation and it just didn't fit with the light hearted baby cry.
I am going to give you guys an update on the dude..
He went the deep end of things, because life is f**king unfair. He got bailed out and probably has been persecuted by people and has been wrongfully blamed by that lunatic if his ex.
He shared 2 very small updates on his reddit profile and it's very bad. He wants to die, kind of bad and is very angry at the world and his ex.
This saddens me a lot.

Aaron sounds like he likely has a sex addiction… The fact that he wanted to invest in a van, disappeared from a party to get off, and has gone in to debt for happy endings all point to the fact that he can’t regulate himself. That’s addiction right there.
I’m glad that they broke up and are going their separate ways. This isn’t an easy thing to come back from and I think she’s better off without him.

That story where the sis goes with the mom's 3rd ex has me thinking about my husband's aunt (5 years older than him). The time she was drooling over her high school daughter's high school boyfriend. No. I don't like looking at pics of a high school boy flexing his muscles🤢, but she insisted on showing me. The time when she and all her kids were living in the same house, and she let her 23 year old son's male drug addicted friend move in. The plan was it was to help him get off drugs. The aunt and the guy ended up getting together and being boyfriend/girlfriend. At Thanksgiving I caught her boyfriend and her high school daughter looking at each other...let's just say there was some s*xual tension going on. I called my FIL after about what I had seen. My FIL had noticed it also. My MIL picked that time to not interfere. There are some other messed up things that his aunt did. I won't write about those. Amazingly, her kids turned out good, and are in happy marriages.
Story 2 - faking an emergency is the most manipulative messed up move getting someone to prove loyalty I’ve ever heard. This woman is so insecure and controlling across the board. So NTA. He should’ve trusted the readers and dumped her STAT.

Last story: Even though she lied, I don't think it's ever okay to call your partner bad names or to cuss them when you're mad. A 'F this or that" is vastly different than an "F YOU!" to be specific. Even though she turned out to be crazy, I feel like her getting called a B*tch for childish behavior was entirely uncalled for and grounds for her to break up with him tbh.
Of course the rest of the story proves she is, indeed, a b*tch and being broken up with is deserved, but that doesn't mean OP should have called someone he was still considering being staying with a name like that. If anyone is ever called names like that or cussed out in a relationship, leave. Even if it's 'justified', it's never okay to be talked to that way. We're striving for healthy communication.

For the frist story about Chinese culture topic it's true, even worse if they have kids. My brother doesn't like to work much and has been caught cheating multiple times and yet my SIL stays with him since they have two kids. and her parents don't care cause he's a man. No he shouldn't talk to Aaron, he will probably be manipulative and put a spin on things (or try, once you learn the manipulation dance steps you can dodge them). I'm kind of doing the same thing with someone, I'm really good at locating resources and I'm just being supportive until everything blows up. She gets overwhelmed easily so a heavy handed approach is just going to alienate her

So would I be the asshole if I never want to see my mom again. I am the oldest of my sisters. My mom moved back to TN last year. She blames me for everything. She has told me she never wanted me. She told me she never wanted me as her child. She has custody of my second cousins who are 3&4 years old. She said I will never see them again and that I am nothing to them. So I ask again. Am I the asshole for never wanting to talk or see my mom again?
