Im not the biggest fan of this story, i find it interesting but a lot of the heroes act incredibly stupid, or don't act at all. I have no clue how anyone could infect Thor or Colossus, their skin is too strong for that
My problem is how they downplayed Thor and doctor strangest abilities. Strange could have teleported the group out of the room or put up a magical barrier. Thor has the god blast and antimatter blast that coul have destroyed anyone coming at them. It was bad writing for the sake of convenience.
For Colossus, he isn't always covered in metal, Thor can be injured by a strong enough opponent, but I agree that some were just made dumb. Reed being one of the biggest, his kids were killed by an infected She-Hulk, but he decides that this is a human evolution that needs to be embraced later. And there are others but those two you mentioned are explainable.
@@sayiantom True, but I feel like most of the zombies wouldn't be able to hurt Thor, but I suppose that's possibly. One that is infuriating is Luke Cage, my man literally has unbreakable skin lol. I wish the writers had been more creative and had created factions with the different heroes instead of just killing or infecting them all.
I honestly found it interesting that Doctor Doom made the sacrifice to stay behind to destroy the portal, knowing what fate waited for him. In a way, Doom had the last laugh as those survivors will always remember Doctor Doom as their Savior.
What I don’t get about this story is why 1. They don’t use Deadpool as an infinite food source since they could chop off a limb and it would grow back but they could eat the one they chopped off and 2. Why quicksilver but everyone
1) The zombies for the most part don't think that far ahead. Giant Man was honestly the only hero who actually thought about knocking an uninfected hero out and feed on him slowly, otherwise the zombies were more interested in spreading the 'gospel' and feeding, they were not controlled enough to realize Deadpool pre-infection was a buffet and would have just gnawed on him until he turned. 2) Quicksilver was tricked by an infected Mystique who had taken the form of an uninfected Scarlet Witch in distress, when Pietro went to save her, Mystique bit him. Quicksilver then was overcome with the desire to 'spread the gospel' and just started running as fast as he could to bite heroes from other countries. Spreading the disease is just a side-effect of the virus.
At a subconscious level the remaining heroes unanimously agreed there's no point in fighting the horde of infected because sooner or later they'll get bitten or scratched and that's it.

Kinda funny that Doom and Magneto managed to get the last laughs when it came down to stopping the Zombie invasion from hopping universes
