I feel like Logan should’ve been immune to the virus. Take a page out of DC’s zombie run Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke, had a similar healing factor and was immune. While he was a Zombie for a minute he quickly reverted back to his original self. In that regard, Logan‘s healing factor is a lot quicker than Slade’s and a lot more efficient. I think this was just the writers trying to infect all the major superheroes. I would’ve loved to see him and the Kitty Pryde of the zombie universe in their own series trying to survive and escape to another reality.
You're right but I think it's a cool choice to make nobody safe. Every character could become a zombie which was cool and terrifying. Many characters like the Hulk shouldn't have turned but I love what they did with zombie Hulk
It is a more powerful virus, its origin is not known but it is cosmic in nature, the first infected was sentry, If Sentry can be infected then Wolverine has no chance, plus Deadpool also got infected XD
Seriously, the zombies shouldn't have stood a chance against Galactus. The energy they used in their weapon was a portion of his power that he gave to the surfer, it wouldn't harm him because he'd simply absorb it just like he did when the surfer rebelled against him. Add to that, Galactus isn't flesh and blood, he's composed of energy. His armour is what helps give him form.
The writing in the old comics are pretty bad, but the (not so) new marvel zombies sorta fixed a lot of the weird stuff that happened in the og! which includes wolverine's healing factor actually making him into a constant source of meat for the zombies
WAIT WAIT WAIT! I just realized how did Mystique infect Quicksliver when Cyclops already shot her head into oblivin? It was litterly shown right before the heroes gathered togther at 1:20. Quicksliver should have been a survivor espically with his father backing him up.
Marvel isn't well-known for continuity. Ironfist was punching right through a zombiefied Black Cat at ground zero of the outbreak. Then, in another comic, we see a fully alive Black Cat on the Shield carrier with Nick Fury.
@@MichaelJones-rz5swApparently that’s not Black Cat from what I learned, in this reality she has a twin sister, Night Cat, who’s the one in the shield helicarrier.
I remember seeing this pop up on RUclips as a kid and letting curiosity get the best of me. Let’s just say 12 year old me being exposed to the family friendly side of marvel and then stumbling upon this comic and seeing Magneto get ripped to shreds in graphic detail was… a little traumatizing 😂
@@kevinforslund52 If you’re talking about original outbreak infection, it was sadly never explained since it been years. The only thing we know was that sentry from Earth 91126 is responsibility for starting infection in Earth 2149 and Giant Ant man from Earth 2149 is also responsibility for starting the infection in Earth 91126.
Agree.. if he can beat the apocalypse mutant virus he can beat the zombie virus unless it is supernatural in nature like the spanish Rec movie. Bad writing..
ok, i still dont know how this all gets sorted out in the loop can someone tell me where the start is to the reset? because if Dead Days started because of this Sentry how did he get to the gates of heaven, then getting blasted out of heaven and landing face first in NYC following that whole story antman gets teleported the the Sentries original universe but back in time, where he somehow infected Blackbolt and medusa but then all the other heroes got teleported to the same universe in the past before the outbreak, but that Universes Hulk was infected by Antman which then infected the sentry but also that hulk was able to beat his hunger with that universes wolverine???? is that pretty much it?
To answer your question, I'm pretty sure the thing with Sentry in heaven isn't canon. They needed a way to get Ash to the zombie universe, so they just decided to use Sentry. However, it is also possible that the Sentry is just so strong that after he was transported he somehow broke into heaven. This comic is really weird so my explanation may not make much sense
@@ShaneliusPrime250 i have been reading these comics since they came out in the books, and i still cant follow the time loops. i was a teenager at the time they were first released

Just cry. The series didn't make sense at all. Like why is pheionx there....
Pretty sure zombies resurrection is a lot better
You can argue that in any alternate universe that those characters are weak af compared to the main ones.

Yeah, that was a pretty good development in that series. Strangely we saw no Deadpool or Sabertooth.

Wolverine, Moonknight, and a few others should be immune to this
Whyd you reupload this?
if he has the healing factor and can respawn him from skeleton, how didnt it fight of the infection?
The infection is cosmic level and completely overtakes any healing factor

Kinda weird how venom’s teeth are dull after becoming a zombie

Really He's not then what is he?
@jurihan3203 A human stepbrother of Charles Xavier. He got his powers from a magical artifact called the "Gem of Cytorrak (sp?)."
