One thing that kinda made me mad was wolverine becoming a zombie, but I'm glad that in Marvel Zombies Resurrection, Logan wasn't infected due to his healing factor.
I mean, two things.
1. The Hunger Virus in the OG run wasn't just another virus. It could apparently overpower any immune system, albeit the infection would slow with healing factors, such as when Spider-Man noted that his system was working overtime, while Colonel America, without a large one, was turned instantly, which Hank Pym said.
2. They could've zombified Resurrection Logan, but they didn't, since if they keep him alive and eat him from there to there, he'll just regenerate.
@@Dynarama I guess it makes sense why he was infected with that, but it seemed like it was instant for him, which makes no sense for him. Wolverine would’ve lasted a long time if Spidey’s was able to last for at least half an hour. Also then what about Deadpool? His healing factor is so busted that if Spidey’s could hold it off even a bit, his should’ve cured him.

@@unspeakableflame292 I know they establish why and say it simply overpowered his healing factor too, as the original Deadpool when stitched to Headpool only had 15 minutes before being infected in one story. But, that not only would imply that Spider-Man had a more potent healing factor, as his lasted a long time. Not only is it inconsistent, but it just makes no sense really for these characters. Personally, I think they should’ve went the route that this other Deadpool comic series does, where an Infected Deadpool, or maybe even Wolverine too, can only be a zombie for so long, before their healing factor cures them.
@@Dynarama I think he should be "immune" to virus. Specifically the necrosis aspect of it. Like he shouldn't turn into a zombie but would still be a regular cannibal who would resist the urges of cannibalism. Same thing goes for deadpool. Hulk on the other hand. He should have been the main character from the get go. Like He should be completely immune to the plague. Hell he and other scientist could find a cure with his blood but said cure would be like a double edge sword. On one hand you cure the virus but on the other hand you're gonna have to fight a cannibalistic gamma monster. Kind of like in video games like left 4 dead or dying light where there are different types of zombies.
I’m glad that Marvel retconned that the zombies just kept re-eating Logan until his healing factor couldn’t handle it.

@@BoxOfCurryos Yep, In the original once he got bit he was immediately infected, in this kind of remake The Zombies just kept eating him until he couldn’t heal anymore

@@unluckyzen32 he could still heal, but not properly as his eyes were eaten along with his eyeballs and instead of regrowing a new pair his eyelids when healed was completely sealed his eye sockets shut.
@@unluckyzen32not a remake , it’s an entire reboot . Not only did they tone the gore down but it fits along after the major reboot we had in the past (with introduction of characters that didn’t exist during the original marvel zombies run)
Now I could explain how and why/ where the original zombies went but that just depends how deep the comic hole you are (mutiple factors play in , firstly we know dc and marvel do a time to time multiversal reboot with the respective franchises. Cool so since you understand that you’ll have to understand how *secret wars* played out for marvel and everything that came with it
The best way for me to sum up without heavy plot spoilers so people can enjoy the read is beyonders doing what they do collected mutiple universes/earths and merged everything into one called battle world doing so introduces us to characters we have read along with, and they are pretty much forced to do battle / war with other multiverse variants . (This includes the marvel zombies) etc etc .
one little thought I got,
When zombie gang feasted on galactus shouldn’t galactus have also turned into a zombie? That guy is huge so it must’ve took more than 2 bites to completely eat him so chance of him getting infected were high, imagine zombie galactus… scary
Well main continuity ( earth 616) galactus is immune to any pathogens, viruses and any contaminants. He doesn't have any flesh or blood or a true physical form to begin with. It's just that we perceive him as a humanoid.

In the comics when they brought back old man logan, he was in a zombie universe at a point and they spoke about how logan was bitten and partially eaten fighting them. Old man logan was healing and wasnt infected. So you kinda got your wish.
I never agreed with Wolverine being susceptible to the virus either because we’ve seen his healing factor save him from worse things in the past. So too me the whole it overwhelmed him was just a cheap excuse.
this is one of the many reasons why fans hate marvel zombies, and at the same time loves it. they love it because super powered zombies but on the other hand it's full of plot holes such as why heroes that are known to shrug off serious injuries get's easily infected and most of the characters starts acting stupid. and finally after expanding the zombie verse there's still no explanation about the virus.
@@ashwolf2006 I agree. And even if characters like Wolverine or Deadpool remained uninfected there'd still be a ton of zombies left roaming around for them to fight. So, there's really no reason to make plot holes just to zombify them. Honestly, the only character I think you could justify turning into a zombie despite his healing factor is the Hulk, because you could at least pull the, "Gamma radiation when mixed with the virus caused the Hulk to mutate into a Resident Evil Nemesis style zombie" card.

Honestly they should’ve had some kind of plot where an immune Wolverine was continually eaten by other heros for a moment of clarity. Hell, even have that be why Spider-Man is so conflicted or why he thinks clearer than the rest

Sadly things didn't work out story-wise, and they ended up going with the whole symbiote apocalypse instead.

Venom didn't get much time in the books. Basically the zombie heroes fought with the zombie villains over Galactus.
During that fight, Venom had a hole blasted through him with Spider-Man's cosmic powers (If I remember correctly) and before he died, explained that the reason he was taken out so easily was because Eddie was no longer a suitable host, and the symbiote was dying alongside him.
Some things may be wrong, but that's pretty much everything of him.

He had an additional appearance in a crossover between all universes wolverines where he ended up biting the strongest on on the nose.

It wouldn't work Logan's healing factor his into play just like Deadpool when he got it he turned back into a human after a while so either that would happen or it wouldn't effect him at all
