@@newtondeltoro9513 the water is definitely warmer but California is so big we have all types of beaches. Rocky, sandy, pebbles, dunes, flat, warm, cold etc unlike Florida where they’re pretty much the same.
@@newtondeltoro9513I agree. I live in Georgia and so I've been all over Florida. I love Jacksonville and St Augustine. I've been to the Gulf Coast too, which is beautiful but doesn't have the waves I like. Jupiter FL is probably the most beautiful place in Florida. I could care less about Miami beach, Daytona, etc. too commercial.
In California there are two spots where I can say from a strictly beach perspective competes. The first is Carmel Beach in Carmel. The sand is just like the Gulf, and the water is clear. The beach is overall great, except the water is cold. The second is Laguna Beach. For two months out of the year, the water is tolerable, and fairly clear. They have tide pools, some large enough to where you can swim in them. There the water is warmer.
Florida definitely wins from a beach perspective. California coast is more about scenery. Especially the Pacific Coast highway

Lived in California my whole life. Best beaches here are La Jolla and Laguna beach (treasure island cove is a must). Not to mention Catalina but that’s an actual island and you need to take a boat there.
@@soccerislife6108 lived here my whole life too but honestly always been scared of the ocean. I live in LA but id be down to drive 1-2 hours for a nice clean beach.
Id go to santa monica or venice but the water is dirty and polluted compared to other beaches down the coast and one with the water being blueish cleanish what scares me is deep dark water💀 and getting dragged in but i do wanna start surfing so id like to give a couple beaches a try🤌🏾 sorry for the long explanation tho.

I love Santa Barbara as a town. The beaches weren't great though. Especially because of all the silt and the oil rigs offshore

El Matador Beach is photographers dream! Also Avalon - Catalina Island
Let me add a few more: 1) Little Corona del Mar, 2) Crystal Cove, 3) Moss Street, 4) Dana Point, 5) 10th St. Del Mar, 6) Black's Beach, 7) Point Dume, 8) Bird Rock, 9) Swami's, 10) San Gabriel River, Seal Beach (the water's warm at the mouth of the river).

@@TravelGlobalVideos If you want something really spectacular try the Naples Island Canal walk, especially during Christmas time. Every house and all of the boats are lit up and people are sitting out in front of their houses giving away hot chocolate and cookies. Even during the regular time it's really beautiful. That's Naples Island in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA.
I've been to most of these places and I, personally, prefer Laguna Beach ⛱

I agree. I was in Laguna Beach this past summer. It was awesome. I'm from the East side of the US and so I normally go to Florida. Laguna Beach and Carmel Beach are the only beaches I went to that can compete with the East Coast. Laguna especially.
The plan was to be in the USA and visit Cali and a couple of those beaches .... maybe next year?

Living in Northern California, I’m kinda bummed I didn’t see any besides stintson beach. I would recommend Shell Beach in Bodega Bay or Black Point Beach by Gualala. Have a great day!

As an sfbay native who has been to most on this list, I think this video will mislead tourists. The southern California beaches are warmer, safer, and more exciting. One of my favorites is mission Beach in San Diego

I'm born and raised in a beach town in SoCal, this list is very subjective. Most of the best is not on this list IMO.
