The Wasp has been a founding and key member of the Avengers. She even named the team the Avengers and helped find Captain America after he's been frozen for years. She's been the leader of the Avengers for many years. She's the best Avengers in my opinion 🥰
I've recently started binging your videos, and I have to say, your narrator voice is really cood for these old timey origins stories. I crew up in the 90's so i missed the golden age but used the internet to gobble up as much superhero comic material as i could before I understood (And had the means to.) that paying for comics helps make more comics. So although I've picked up lore from here'n there, its really convenient and entertaining to have a collection of lore in one place. Narrated fittingly ofc. I hope you pranch out to more lore than origins stories. (You might have already, I havent yet seen all your videos.) I'll be watching, and you do you! 🐜🐝
I. stepped on an ant hill once. I was wearing flip flops. Those ants tore my feet up. I had no idea those little black ants would bite but they sure did.
I wonder what this version of Ant Man and the Wasp would be like if it was adapted by the people who are writing Dr Stone. "We about to use ammonia acid and calcium nitrate to give this extra terrestrial the worse cold of his life. Get Excited!"

His origin reminds me of the Incredible Shrinking Man that debut in the 1960's. However, that movie did not end well. Also, the ant part is from Honey, I Shrink the Kids (1987) which debut way later after Ant Man. Hmmmm.....
Don't forget that Hank's first wife has a baby girl who Janet adopted and gave her the Pym Particals so she could become the next generation wasp!!!!!!
Imagine that eh? What did you do today? Oh i drank this liquid i made and shrunk down into an ant and i Judo threw a lot of ants to get out of there anthill lol
Love your videos but can you please do videos on the mainstream roster of heros and villians more often instead of mostly lesser known characters and story arcs
Yeah, I didn't want to get too deep into the Yellowjacket years as I wanted this to be more focused on Ant-Man and The Wasp coming together and developing their powers. That being said, a separate episode covering Yellowjacket, Hank and Janet's marriage, the subsequent divorce, and even the origin of Ultron is certainly on the table if people would like to see it.
@@MerryMarvelite i agree with you kinda glossing over that as well. I hate that is the first thing anyone brings up when anyone brings him up. That being said, if you do a video on his Yellowjacket years, it would be appropriate. Just have some balance.
The so-called domestic violence part was an editorial error. It was never intended to happen and does not in any way besmirch Pym's character. Spiderman beat up his wife intentionally and gets a free pass. Enough .

Wasp's power to control insects was never much of a focus but in her early months she did have a favorite wasp she called Boopsie .
Like how Red Bee's favorite bee was named Michael.
Ant man and the wasp are one of my favorite superheroes. And I like their relationship in the comics.

We have wow
those comic artworks are amazing, classics!

Bro used judo to beat up an ant lol
“and some proficiency at Judo” While talking about a cocky scientist trying to survive a colony of ants… is probably the greatest thing i’ve heard
Hank Pym's tech should have been used in conjunction with other heroes. Imagine Thor's hammer in mid flight growing to the size of a bus.
Leaving alone Ant-man's abuse of Wasp and other details. But that was probably Silver Age.
That panel was misinterpret it want not ment to be abuse
This is only their origin and first appearances, not their full history.

*1989 and at the same time, an Ant-Man was pitched and being developed but never came into fruition until the MCU films.
@@foldabotZ yeap, 1989, you are right. Also, New World Pictures or was it during the time X-Men and Spider-Man had movies.

You gotta do Doctor Strange for the new movie !
