This is one of those foundational marvel stories that underpins EVERYTHING. From the Vampires to the X-Men to of course Dr. Strange. Everything in the marvel timeline is connected by threads reaching back to these periods of gods and the first generation of heroes.
I find these type of comic stories so much more interesting than a lot of the stuff currently out. It just feels more imaginative, grand, and wondrous in scale. Those ancient avengers looked awesome 💯
Agreed, but the ancient avengers thing was kinda goofy in my opinion. Marvel wanted their superheroes to have a legacy element to them, much like most of DC's superheroes, lol.
I really like when you cover characters from before the era of superheroes. It shows the depth of the Marvel Universe. All of the potential videos you mentioned would be cool. I'll give you one more; Clea. She had a rich history to explore.

I'm compelled to correct your version of how the Ancient One was saved from Shuma Gorath by Dr. Strange . Strange did NOT destroy Yao's physical body . Strange entered Yao's mind and destroyed his ego which ended Yao's earthly life and his concept of what he was and was not making Yao ' one with the universe " .
I think you may have left out one small detail. At one point Sir Isaac Newton actually held the title of sorcerer supreme. At least in the Marvel universe. But perhaps you can save that story for another video.
