@Ishmari345 If you think that's the case on this game then -man- you weren't even paying attention, the whole point of Disgaea is showing that demons aren't always evil just because they're monsters, they're just mischevious at most, Hence why they stop at truly evil things and act disgusted by those who act underhanded and cowardly, that's why I like the series :v
Disgaea demons are supposed to be just like humans, but with different looks and acting a little more harsh. And the game is pure fun, so the music fits perfectly!

"An Angel and De~vil" can't help but smile every time, the singers in this song go all in those high notes are def. the highlight for me
