    I applied Air8 at max rate 2 days ago for treating my hard clay soil and got a noticeable green-up in the St. Augustine grass that I was not expecting. Pretty cool.

    I love this stuff made a lot of people happy with it 🙂 the only thing i haven't used it on is new sod . Good idea or bad ?

    • @yardmastery
      @yardmastery  5 месяцев назад

      it's great for new sod once it has rooted. Use RGS to help new sod get started fast!

    What's the difference between the yellow and green nozzle add nozzle that all green. Because I have both and the yellow an green nozzle don't spray as well as the all green one and that with adding more water to the jug and yellow nozzle.

    I'm in the process of trying to recover our yard after years of neglect by the previous owners. We have a mix of bermuda and fescue, including some fescue sod that we laid about a month ago (some of which we had to rip out and put back down after leveling, something the landscaper didn't level it properly). Anyway, I'm gathering that I can combine the Humic 12, Air8, and RGS into one container for application, is that right? Separately, if I'm planning on doing mechanical aeration, is there any downside to also using the Air8 in a similar timeframe?

      @yardmastery  3 месяца назад

      yes you can mix them for sure but it's not needed. If you are wanting to help compacted soil, then directly after your mechanical aeration, spray down RGS and Air8. Mix up 6oz/gallon of each and spray it then water it all in. This will compound the effects of the mechanical aeration nicely.

      @@yardmastery Thank you! I'm concerned both about time spent applying (wife does not value the lawn as much as I do, so I need to be as efficient as possible when treating it), as well as ensuring I don't put unnecessary stress on the lawn, whether the new fescue sod or the existing fescue and bermuda present in the rest of the yard. Separately, I have both a Chapin 6 and 20 gallon hose end sprayers, as well as traditional pump sprayers, and even a 1 Gal. electrostatic sprayer that runs off a 18V battery. If I'm trying to get as much product applied as quickly as possible, what would you recommend? For context, I have about 9000 sq ft of lawn to cover. Appreciate any tips and tricks!

    I have TTTF and have followed the program but recently applied Air8 and my lawn went from nice and green to looking like it is burnt! Any idea what went wrong? The grass is crunchy. Looks terrible. Any ideas would be appropriated.

      did it warm up where you live? May just be time to make sure you are watering a little more. What is your grass type?

      It did warm up close to 80. I have TTTF grass. Could be that needs more water. Just de-winterized my irrigation system but am supposed to get one to two inches of rain over the next couple of days.

      you can do it as often as you like but for me, it's typically 1-2x in spring and again in the fall time

      My first application of pre emergent. I used andersons Barricaded Professional-Grade Granular Pre-Emergent weed Control. I would like to switch to Yard Mastery prodiamine Pre-Emergent
      So my question is, will that be a problem using 2 different brand.

      If you're somewhere in a drought or stressed region it works wonders monthly at just 3 oz. But I'll do 9 oz per 1k in spring and fall
