Same! Although...shout out to my 10th grade Chemistry teacher for making science exciting for me. Not quite this level, but her class really stands out in my memory almost 20 years later.

I noticed that too! I assume for the safety of the audience that experiment was filmed without them present and then replayed on screens for them live later. Not sure why they didn't use the same pieces of egg shell though to recreate the scene.
Science happens everyday ...and we just aren't aware of it. One must understand and study it in order to appreciate it....and science is not just for "nerds" science is for the adventurous and curious! Science rules.....science for all folks .....girls, too.
