Top favorite for me... the Homelite Super XL12, Just looks like something I'd love to take out in the woods and use hard for a day, close behind that is probably the Stihl 032, just a beautiful old saw. I'm not really a Stihl guy but I want one of those so bad. And number 3 is the ported Poulan 3400, love my ol green Poulan saws. Great video Dan thank you for the best chainsaw content on RUclips!!
I love the Echo 650! I recently got our families John Deere 55EV (built by Echo) running, after sitting for almost 30 years. I have a new love for old Echo saws now. They are such strong, torque monster saws. I also have a Jonsered 521e that is also a favorite, pretty heavy, but good running saw.
Great video. Love the commentary. Brilliant that you recovered and restored these beautiful individuals, I wouldn’t ordinarily condone customisation of old stuff but in fairness you make it work. I collect old farm equipment Ferguson & MF, I grew up with the stuff and see it as my duty to keep it away from the scrap man. Keep up the good work.
I'm UK based ,got a 1983 Poulan 3400 - very rare over here - found it in a junk auction for £20 plus a nice felling axe. Pulled the spark arrester out, drilled 3 holes in the muffler -runs great- and sounds great ....probably do some gentle power upgrade one day - Base gasket delete, new rings, carb rebuild, but not porting...I'm not confident enough to start filing away at the inards....
The Mercury two cylinder chainsaw is my favorite. My neighbor has one and it runs so nice. The two cylinders sound just like a motorcycle. He supposedly got it in the trash too. The men who worked the woods back then were real MEN.
the Pioneer ieL is my favorite... those canadien and usa brands are more difficult to find here in the Netherlands, europe. i have a Solo Rex 1958, a Solo 60135 1968, a stihl S08 1964, a sachs dolmar cc 1971, and sachs dolmar ca 1972. thanks for showing your top 20. very nice collection.
the Stihl 032 is a FASTBACK nice collection. I'm up to about 10 or 11 my ruby is a Stihl 044 10mm slant as I recall I got it in 1991??? 129 are the first 3 digits of SN as I recall. very low hours all original kept in 68 degree climate cont shop. only used to trim rose bushes at church on Sunday! LOL ya I had many-A-man try to buy her. don't ever see myself parting with it. nice vidja Mr.
Hey Dan, I notice you dont have an old 60s poulan saw. I have many old 361s and would love to send you one to add to your collection. No charge at all. I'd be damn proud to put a saw in that collection of yours sir
Stihl 032 AVE my first Stihl and first new saw...in 1981...cut slot of wood with it....sold to a friend he still has it....replaced a used Homelite XL12....those Jonreds are neat...and the Pioneer RA...was awesome...Shoe
Sweet 20 for sure! The filter on the pioneer caught my attention. Bet it was one of the best for the time period. I've got 2 of them a 031 and 55 husky. Good ol says. Thanks for coming to our beautiful country for Taz man. Glad you enjoyed it.
Def #4 . I love husqvarna's as well but the Ferrari saw is tough! In the process of restoring a couple of old Craftsman's myself, I think they're 70s I believe. Baby blue and white beautiful saws
Awesome collection Dan! Enjoyed seeing all your hard work. Im all orange in the shop so love the old L65. I have an A65,L65 and 2 65L's. They all cut firewood. Keep having fun with your saws Dan. They are your saws so do as you please with em. My only trigger is people that have triggers 😊
U make me feel better about having 7 chainsaws I don’t need. Yes I feel they HAVE to look cool. I like Jonsered stock color scheme. Anything else needs a paint job.
Ya buddy!! You do nice work!! I’m torn between 3. Jk’s 51. That minty J-red and the 🇨🇦 Canadien of course. Minty J-red’s gonna take the win tough. Sorry jk. Love the way your 51 runs and inspired me to hop up my 55. But that J-red is so sweet. Looking good Dan! Keep ‘em coming👍
Thanks for making me regret passing on an old homelite this weekend lol...the guy wanted a bit more than I wanted to pay but it was a seemingly decent super 902 and would have looked pretty stellar next to my pioneer 1110...love the video as always Dan! Keep up the killer content and hey maybe some bush videos soon?
I always noticed an allis chalmers rebranded poulan 306 in the backround of multiple videos, can you tell me about that? Or is there already a video on it, if not can you make one?
I think my favorite would be the Jonsered 761. Still useful. The Titan is awesome too, but wouldn't want to drag that big thing out. Just leave it on the shelf!

My #1 is the Titan. #2 is the PM Canadien. #3 the Husqvarna L.

The S10 reminds me of like an old Volkswagen LO. L.
I know right 😁
770D cut well
Big ol Beast!
Thank s Dan
😉👍👍
Hey Dan what’s your opinion on a homelite super 2 ?
Eh, they're ok...sorta like the little mcculloch power macs...a little harder to work on but a good little saw when running right
@@KainKustomGarage I agree good saws when they’re running good but you’re just tripping over them here in Georgia 🇺🇸
My favorites s 10 stihl and the o32 stihl
Aaah yes!😁
How about telling us the sizes?
JK is also my initials. That's cool
😁
Eu gostei da sua coleção de motosserra.

Tenho um semelhante da marca Taylor
Bom achado.
Build another old saw but run a big ass chain! Not long, big!
The Ferrari 610 triggers people because they don't have one
🤣🤣
for shape and looks PM270 is the best
Yssir!😁
might have cut ice with no 3
The thing is, if a person don't make it another day. Who will your tools, end up with? Scary thought.
Scary indeed! Better get my Will ready...lol
The Canadian muffler looks like a napkin dispenser
Hahha! Totally 😁
