That machine is such a tank they took it and used it to build a masonry saw / cutoff machine. It was the TS760 AV, an absolute monster. I was lucky enough to find one and have been using it for years.
Just bought 3 ts 760 av in Poland for 100 € each . I need to Say where where suposed to be not working . But I think it is lack of knowledge how to start it taht makes these saws not Runners . In the same Time most likely it is decomprsion valve failure that makes them rwały hard to start.
Hey.. Hello Brendan😀 Nice to hear from you. They really are brutes to use. My arms are still aching a couple of days later. Man i've gotta toughen up..lol Kind regards Rob 🌲🪵🔥
@@stridebaad1219 I bet they are my friend! I rebuilt a bottom end on one at the start of the year for a fellow collector in Sydney lovely saws! I can’t believe u sold ur BLK🙀
Hello Rob, You possibly may not recall, but I bought a lovely little Kioritz Echo 60S from you several years back . It's most interesting you mention the lack of chain brake on this big Stihl. I have a very very clean 076 AV EQ that's also missing it's brake & was told a few years back that some were actually sold as new without it & some with it, which I was always a bit wary of, so as I'm listing it on Ebay shortly, it's nice to hear, I really hope you don't mind, but I'll be a bit cheeky & take this opportunity on your posting just to let you know that as well as the big Stihl I'll also be listing very shortly a Clinton D65, a Solo 60135 & a rather nice Solo Rex. I'm wanting to concentrate more on my favourites, the big Danarm 125's & 110's. Anyway Rob, I couldn't think of anyone better qualified, interested, or down right knowledgeable regarding these now almost extinct fantastic giant old 'Dino-saws' from the past, so I'm just giving you a heads up.
Nice one Rob, man what an arm stretcher, it would run a 6 foot bar I would say, not many saws that can be said to, but this seems like one. These saws come up occasionally where I live, and do seem to fetch good money, and now I see why, keep up the good work !
Hey.. Hello RD😀 Nice to hear from you. The 076 really are brutes to use & enormous compression. My arms are 3 inches longer now and still aching a couple of days later. Man i've gotta toughen up..lol Kind regards Rob 🌲🪵🔥
Hello TC😀 Very Nice to hear from you. The 076 are beautiful saws and brutes to use. Arm wrenching enormous compression. My arms are 3 inches longer now and still aching days later. Man i've gotta toughen up..lol or find someone else to start it for me Kind regards Rob 🌲🪵🔥
@@stridebaad1219 076 is a piece of engineering excellence. Hard to find and the buyer will be a lucky man. Old Stihls rock. Just started a mint 61 this morn that had been sitting for 20 years. Sounds glorious. Just a fuel line needed
076's were good saws... 110cc, used them lots, only problem with them was the muffler shroud would rattle loose! 1987 I bought my first 084, 122cc.. IMO the best production saw Stihl ever made.
Rob there is a decompresion valve near the handle you push it and the start will be as easy as 50cc chainsaw mate . That is what is this valve for not to hustt your ARM
That's a good looking monster! But the saw on the top-right, is that an Alpina? 0-70? I have one, that doesn't have spark. It uses points for ignition and I'm not familiar with that system, but I researched it and seems I could replace points with a chip. Do you have any experience with this?

Man, I love this video soooo much!
“….it builds a good arm”
Spoken about 100cc MacCulloch Kart engines, but seems to apply to these as well.

I just bought my first 08s where would I find what model it is so I can start getting the right parts to rebuild? Any help would be greatly appreciate

Startup is at 5:52
Info is just as good mate if you listen and have interest 👍
