The way you do the figure 8, I realized it was creating a wing case. So for me I was able to stop using all the alternative methods for a wing case. I personally like the wing case on that side with jig beads. I also realized it gave me enough room at the eye to tie in some flash to create a split wing case effect. Thanks so much for showing that, it helped me solve some irritating issues.
started to tie my own recently and perdigons were my first choice as i really really enjoy nymphing and fishing faster water. And due to your video on beads i havent even bought a single slotted tungsten or regular tungsten bead. Went straight for the tear-drop jig tungstens and they work really well. Specially quill perdigons.
You made a good choice with off beads. Such a clever invention. Perdigon style is amazing but make some classic style pheasant tails and some furry bugs
thanks. I dont have favorite hook, but lets say TMC and gamakatsu hooks are among my favorites. Also, Daichii and Ahrex...But i also use a lot of chinese, no name hooks. I buy, test and decide whether i like it :) Hope this makes some sense
Thanks. I promise i will do some hollow bucktail stuff. I have been tying them recently a lot. But i am not experienced tier when it comes to it so dont expect much.
falangista is thread and red tinsel. Gasolina is black thread and pearl tinsel over it. both are super simple. I have falangista on my channel and probably variation of second one too. Try searching my channel with keyword perdigon. Cheers:)
Hey Vladimir! I'm 14 years old and have been tying flies for about a year now... I just wanted to ask a question... so in general (not just for perdigons) What is the best tungsten size for size 14# and 16# jig hooks... (euro nymphs) so for example if a have a size 14# hook, what size of bead should i add? Thank you, have a nice day!
@@FlyMohor hi, best size is 16 i would generally use 2 or 2.5 and 14 i would use 2.5, 3, 3.5mm but. There are occasions when size 16 with 4mm works great. But not super often Maybe this video helps ruclips.net/video/jL12h21alD0/видео.html
@@Oholisfliesandfishingwell yeah… however.. I can’t bring myself to tie a perdigon as I never fish them so I’ll use the base formula and tie some hares ears. Maybe I’ll come around to a Perdi later but for now I can’t.

Another excellent video, Vladimir. Could you tell me if you have a favorite hook for your perdigon flies?

Material list for other two perdigons?
