5:55 it is really weird to see him go from the normal cemetery of ash to the consumed kings garden lmao Now you gotta do the same videos but for artorias’ great sword, dragon tooth, or the dragon slayer spear.
There's thankfully an easier way to dupe boss souls with the longbow :) 1: Have the longbow equipped with no arrows on at all 2: Have an estus in your start menu toolbelt, doesn't matter which one 3:Try shooting an arrow (quiver search animation) at the same time you select 'Yes' for a boss soul (You'll do the animation while also having the prompt to use the boss soul active) 4: Hold down your weapon art with the longbow so the animation plays, then open your menu and use the estus on your toolbelt (You can also ALT F4 if you mess it up) 5: Happy duping
Just finished the video. Absolutely fantastic. Especially loved the part where the enemies remembered ds2 and just ganked you lol Can't wait for the ER video, as it pays tribute to the trilogy by being possible in 2 bosses, and one boss, and no boss (depending on the patched lol)
really love this concept, Im curious though, any plans for a bloodborne and/or elden ring take on this? off the top of my head without glitches bloodborne is only 3 (cleric beast, gascoigne and, of course, ludwig) and elden ring is either 3 (loretta, radahn, astel) or 4 (loretta, rennala, radahn, astel) depending on if you can open the chest in rennalas room while youre in the middle of that fight
21:17 My friends won't play souls games with me either. Relatable content. (Though I would have cheat engined the sword in immediately and without any regret.)
15:55 - This tip doesn't just work on NPCs; another Watchdog invaded with me, and we both got instakilled by chasing a host off a position exactly like this (;-__-)
i'm a little confused, does the system not detect that you've unplugged the drive that the game is running off? It does for me, but that might just be because i'm on xbox.
I need to see more guides that knvolve very minimal work Only 2 bosses killed, and ds3 unpacker modded onto the ps4, pretty smooth sailing once you actually insert the files Something everyone can follow!
This video showed up just as I finished a challenge to kill a Hollow Soldier with the MLGS in this game. It took me three hours to get it done, and you mean to tell me I could've skipped half the bosses on the way there? What unholy sorcery is taking place??
The first ten minutes of the video were interesting, but the result didn't make sense. Causing a hardware failure to skip a boss is not okay in your book, but using multiple versions of the game and completely change platforms is a fine skip? I get that the intention was to show off a complex solution while going through interesting information about the game and how different skips had been discovered throughout different platforms and versions. However, the end result for Gundyr's skip was like someone ordering a "rice and beans milkshake" at the Post Office. To be honest, I'd deem perfectly valid if you just said: "I'm going with this idea to skip Gundyr because it's the most chaotic and fun to me" It's just a problem with the expectation set for the kinds of skips you deem okay versus the ones you don't.
The distinction is that one is a skip that isn't possible without hardware manipulation. The other is just taking a character save that has already performed the skip legitimately and converting it to a different platform. I could have played out the rest of the run on PS4, and it would've worked just the same. I just converted it over so I could do it on PC instead (and to see if I could).
I'd played it years back on my ps4, went to PC and played ER. came back to finish off ps4 games after 3 or so years, and it takes a few minutes to get used to it again but isn't unbearable. I grew up on a few 720p/30hz TVs tbf lol
Honestly, only a psychopath would skip Gundyr like that instead of just doing the deathcam glitch, but I guess it's not too big a thing to expect from someone who went through all that trouble to skip Gundyr lmao.
Technically, all the save file editing he did is completely optional. He only did it because he wanted to continue the run on PC. But if you're fine with playing on a PS4, it's totally possible to do all the skips he showed without having to mess with save files.

✔ get version 1.00 of the game
✔ soft mod your ps4
✔ build ds3 save unpacker yourself
✔ hex edit the save file
thats some serious dedication!
Firelink greatsword in 0 bosses now
The human staircase method 💀
@@rigorm136 I wonder why his friends wont play Dark Souls with him anymore...
How to skip asylum demon: Throw some firebombs and quit out :)
How to skip Gundyr: Become a hacker.
How to skip stuff in ds2: become butterfly, parry knight, proceed to defy the laws of gravity
I loved watching this but I think it’s easier to just beat the 5 bosses needed 😭
Its unlikely to see someone as a youtuber and a master of their craft at the same time. Your videos just scream dedication and expertise

happy birthday bro 🎉
Happy birthday!

I think it's just easier to hack it into your inventory at this point lol
You break the souls games in so many ways I've never seen keep it up I love your stuff

love the channel and the content, hope you diverge into more recent souls games so the channel goes main stream
OK we weren't expecting this lol, but genuinely looking forward towards this!!! :3
"the answer is in the title of the video, so lets see how its done." that alone earned a like
crazy dedication, keep up the good content!
amazed that it took this long to find a iudex skip considering how straight forward it was
Absolute genius video hope you keep making dark souls 3 content

Woah, I did not know about the 1.00 Gundyr skip that is sick

Both are on my list of things to look into!
With the Gundyr skip you can get sword with 0 boss kill & all you have to do is summon your friend to drop it for you.
Fun fact the same cheese can work with great chaos fire ball as a substitute

On PC, the game will continue to run with whatever data was already loaded into memory. I'm not sure how consoles handle it.

Nvm this is just a spaghetti code torture simulator lmao
I'm sure you didn't miss this, but you say travel doesn't unlock until you rest at firelink. So what happens when you use a homeward bone?
You only get the option to go to the last bonfire unfortunately.

I totally forgot this game was on consoles, never seen this game below 60fps. I understand putting up with it for Bloodborne, but DS3?

ILLEGITIMATE CHILD! This doesn't count. You have failed! Falsehoods!
Great video btw, totally cheating but a hilarious form of cheating.
While I admire the dedication, expertise and thought process that went into this video, why not just cheat engine and drop the weapon in? :D
It's more fun to get it this way!
Right, better to cheat the character in instead of the item
beat dark souls 3 without beating a single boss
"unplug the drive"
if you're at the point of hex editing your save just add in the weapon to your inventory lmao
I did not think transferring save files from console to PC would be so hard LOL I guess it depends on the game
so basically the title is a lie ? at this point you can mod the game to get the weapon early instead of all this bs
Technically, all the save file editing he did is completely optional. He only did it because he wanted to continue the run on PC.
But if you're fine with playing on a PS4, it's totally possible to do all the skips he showed without having to mess with save files.
Step 1: time travel
Bosses required = DS(n - 1)
6:30 Couldn’t you have used a homeward bone?
Unfortunately, homeward bones only give you the option to return to the last bonfire until you get to Firelink.
Get claymore, crystal infusion, gg
At this point, just add it with cheat engine
