    As a kind of mark for the 10th series of 'New' Who, I decided to make this video. I tried to incorporate all of The Doctors and companions from 2005-2017 where I could fit them. I hope you enjoy it as I created it with very little time so bare with me.
    This is the first video for RUclips I've made using Sony Vegas Pro, so I'm hoping you can see a difference in the quality and length of the video.
    I'd just like to just give a credit to allonsy.mp4 (goo.gl/LGqR6t) for the download links to the Doctor Who episodes, without them I'd be pretty lost, so thank you Hannah!

    Check out my latest Doctor Who edit here: ruclips.net/video/xqe6NJwh-W0/видео.html
    Just to let you know I've changed my channel name from JMR Productions to joeandthelight. Don't worry though this video you all love won't be going anywhere!

    The part when 11 says to Amy: "What's the alternative? We standing over your grave?". In Angels take Manhattan they are standing over her grave

    And the Doctor still can't stop. "It's a battlefield like this one... and it's empty, because everyone else has fallen."
    But not the Doctor. Never the Doctor. They still have to trudge on, when everyone else is gone.
    "Time to leave the battlefield."
    Time to move on, without them

    This is a great tribute I must say. Good job! I feel like this encapsulates the cycle that the Doctor goes through in his lifetimes: losing his companions/saying goodbye to them, and then having to move on & letting go, but still remembering them in his *memories*

      Ah thank you! That was the aim. It's just annoying I get hardly any views, and don't know how to change that

    • @heyitsfithri
      @heyitsfithri 6 лет назад +1

      JMR Productions | Yeah... I know it's hard to get views in general, especially for a smaller channel on RUclips. Maybe you could promote your work on reddit (r/doctorwho) or even on the Whovians Amino? Just a suggestion. Could help broaden your viewer base.
      Anyways, don't be so disheartened about the views. If you keep at it, eventually, you will get the recognition you deserve. Just keep on doing what you are doing! 😄

    Capaldi was a wonderful Doctor, he rolled up so many of his predecessors into that role.

    This is one of the problems (one of the many problems) with 13. The Dr is broken at his core...13 has none of that and so she’s lost about 90% of the compelling nature of the character

    • @wardoctor1187
      @wardoctor1187 3 года назад +5

      Agreed

    • @unadequated189
      @unadequated189 3 года назад +12

      I politely disagree. While yes, the Doctor is broken, 12 was a means to an end. He was meant to symbolise acceptance. 9, 10, 11 and 12 were one full arc of a Doctor Who era. 13 is meant to symbolise new beginnings, as is her place in the cycle. That's why she doesn't fit in with the previous 4.
      Of course, there are many other problems with 13 that I can't defend, flaws in the writing, in the story, in the characters, but this is the one complaint I can argue against.

    You'd think after seeing both the beginning and end of the universe that the Doctor would get inured to death. You can save them, but for how long? Another 10, 20, 50 years? What is that in the cosmic scale of time? The universe is already 14.3 billion years old in our time, what is it at the end of time?
