That third duel with the classic ganker ss + caestus parry spam build... it just speaks volumes of this kind of players abilities. Literal below 0 skill for agression and actual creative or under pressure performance
Stacked regen is cheese, but so is latent 50/50 parry spam. Sometimes you just gotta play cheese into cheese :)

There's nothing wrong with that and it sure is a more honest setup than murky, crossbow, pics. Problem is the guy really had no aggression even when he had a big advantage. He made g9 back off and regenerate twice which is much better than I'd manage.

it's just a matter of patience and adjusting to attrition duels. I was mid tier at best when I played DSIII and ended up having this kind of players for breakfast lmao you just gotta give yourself the time to learn and read their dog shit passive playstyle, they always end up making fatal mistakes sooner or later (like that insanely noobish spear running attack in 2:23 that ended in backstab)
@@matthewcastillo6362 Yeah I sometimes die to shit like this because I don't have the patience to regen to full or play 100% safe so I'll sometimes eat a lucky parry. It's stupid how shit latency turns the fight from an easy one I win in 10 seconds to something incredibly tedious I can actually die to.
@Jinxed Swashbuckler yeah basically. When you still a noob and encounter players like this its very annoying, but once you learn to read and counter passive players like this with bolts/regen/good poise weapons its just the easiest meat out there
Yea my problem isnt necessarily being impatience sometimes but its usually cause cause im trying to use a specific weapon instead of switching to like a dagger or straight sword or something that will actually hit them plus my luck is absolute garbage sometimes and this game doesnt forgive ppl against lagberts lol

I don't get it... How can someone agress qs dagger regen at high lat? Qs has almost 100% s at that latency and can cancel r1 recovery with qs. I can only think about ghru dagger poison or using murky/harpe

I had a similar thought. It is obviously harder to aggress a qs dagger like murky, and the task is even more daunting when you consider who is at the other end of it.
But, that's part of being a good player - figuring out how to aggress. At least you have to try, and Jee's opponent wouldn't even do that.

Why do gankers feel the need to learn estus cancel? Estus cancel isn't gonna make up for your abysmal spacing and lack of game sense.
It's not just estus cancel - a lot of players see the flashy stuff and think that's the path to being good. I've seen players who can estus cancel really well, and hardswap weapons efficiently, but cannot play worth a damn. Spacing & timing are boring in comparison, I guess.

in the regen battle you're abusing latency more than he is. latency favors the defending party, so putting on full regen and just rolling/quickstep anything is technically uncounterable. You could probably spam quickstep and be immortal for as long as you have fp if it comes down to it. Honestly you can't really criticise someone playing passive when you do the same x10. of course you will think I'll just beat him at his own game and that's perfectly fine, but the added attitude causes hipocrisy.
Ugh, I have fought Jee before, and it does not seem like he has latency. When you talk latency, it usually favors one person over another. The kind of shitters he encounters on a daily basis are truly latent, and some of 'em even abuse The bloodring in addition. Jee isn't being hypocritical, because that would imply he is wielding his 'Net like a weapon, the way so many do in this game now.

@@Chris-re3lv these guys over there live on Middle East while Jeenine is on Canada. The fight will be a latent one no matter if you have good net or not. You probably live closer to jee than them. Latency is not one sided. It favors the defending party though because it is way harder to punish someone based on your mind than on yours eyes. Your eyes will deceive you a lot. Since Shadow playstyle relies on being passive it is hard to pressure him specially on high latency. Dont take my comment as an attack, it is just to share this info if you havent seen it. Peace!
@@seu_menino7757 I acknowledge what you say, because sometimes players will have to play with what they can get, but I know for a fact that a great number of players have intentionally weaponized their net. In some cases, it's a lag switch, and and in some cases it's VPN that makes your net go through several strainers. Based on the kind of PVP traffic that goes through Pontiff nowadays, you are going to find with way more regularity the kind of people who mutilate their connection on purpose to gain an unfair advantage. Just don't take my word for it, watch videos from Iamamish on the subject for good examples.
