Awesome video!!
Thank you!
Who else didn't know you weren't really supposed to do these same day before this video?
Me
Very good!! Everything I’ve watched said I’d have to wait 24-48 hrs. Thanks for this
Thank you !!
this was great thank you
You’re welcome
Awesome tutorial 😎
Thank you😊
I never knew I should wash the apple first. I learn something new today. Good to know
Yes❤️❤️
Most people wash their fruit before eating.... except my uncle. Lol!!! I would definitely wash the apples before dipping.
if I wanted a sour/sweet taste could I use lemon juice instead of water with a flavoring oil ? & do I have to use white coloring first ?
Critical acid and jolly ranchers
Can you list the ingredients in the details or comments section?
Let us know what you all would like to see next‼️‼️
Could you do one for the molds on your fruit? Like how people add letters, numbers and shapes to covered strawberries and cookies.
Thank you for the video.
You’re welcome 💕
Where do we buy the coloring and flavor from?
Your local cake supply store,Amazon,etsy
Hi. Thanks but do u not wipe the apples off after dipping in the and before the refrigerator?
Wipe,Wipe,Wipeee lol before, after and after that again lol
Do you rinse & wipe? Or just wipe?
What’s the best storage method after wrapping them?
Refrigerator or even your counter since it’s the winter time
Girl this video got a lot of views! Keep going- I never made candies apples but I love to eat them-didn’t know they were this high tech to make
Meet the Fairley Yes it did! And yes I loveee Candy apples. I commented back on your other comment on the other video as well.
New subbie! Thanks for the tips! How much water do you measure in the pot before adding vinegar/soda solution?
About half way
Am I the only one that saw that little adorable baby in the background 🤗
❤️❤️

Edible Creations of course your the boss baby
Hello this was a great tutorial. But I have a question, in some videos I watched it said to wait 24-48 hours but in this video why don’t we need to wait that long? Thanks. 😊💖💖
With this one it shows you how to get BUBBLE FREE apples in one day instead of waiting
So do I get white gel food coloring or regular an also what kind of regular coloring do I get
White gel paste
Hey was the pot off while you were getting everything mixed and then type turned the stove on to get it heat to 350 degrees? Also I google americo food coloring an it looked more like past is that what you used?
Yes the stove was off while getting mixed and yes as long as it’s the Gel color you can use it no matter the brand. I just prefer Americolor brand
The Dye Family thanks. What about the flavoring? I poured what I feel like was a lot of the loranns and the candy had no taste
Can you still get a similar bright color if you don’t use white food coloring?
Hey! No it’ll be transparent without the white food coloring
I want to do 2 Apple's
After I put them in fridge then I take them out do I need to wipe them off or just dip them
Karla Carlos hey! Just wipe them really good to make sure they are dry
Thanks for the tutorial. I have tried a the same cleaning method but my apples still started breaking down in just a few hours. I've even used Hi Sweet but still getting the same results. Maybe its my climate, not sure. How long before your apples start breaking down when using this cleaning method?
It has to be your climate. This one works every time❤️
This was good except I have so many questions that you didn’t cover I. This tutorial........ you don’t show how long you suppose to prep and stir, also when do you know they are ready to be dipped in the candy because you never said that also is the stove on while you are putting in the sugar etc????? What should it be on low medium high?
Hello, thanks for the video. Question, how do you get the apples to not be sticky. My trouble is bagging them
Make sure your house is cool and the apples have been completely dried and cooled down before dipping it in the candy
@@TheDyeFamily i live in Texas super hot in summer months. Can I place them in the fridge after dipping and if so how long
Yes until pickup or drop off
There was a ghost head user the white table
After you take them out of the fridge do you let them come to room temp then wipe off?
I wipe as soon as I get them out of the fridge and then again before I dip
Niveah’s Playhouse For Kids ok thank you!
What’s colors did you use to get that color
Dollme Up I used turquoise
What would you say is the problem if my candy turns dull and is thick when dipping?
Danni Sweetheart Diy you may have stirred it too much
@@TheDyeFamily Thank you. Im going to try again tomorrow. Yours look great💞
You’re welcome. We have another candy apple tutorial and a jolly rancher grapes tutorial on our channel as well❤️❤️ Make sure you SUBSCRIBE and share it with your friends‼️
That’s called seizing and it happens when you add too much color to your mixture!
@@melaninqueen787 Thank you
Hi, so is it the baking soda that keeps the apple candy from bubbling? Because other than that it's basically the same process as 24 to 48hrs
Yes baking soda along with the acv
Do the apples taste like vinegar afterwards, how long are u dipping them when your cleaning them ?
Not at all
How long do you clean each apple ? Or it dosent matter
Each apple goes in the cleaning solution for Atleast 10-15 seconds
I loved the point of the video but I'm confused was the apples you already had in the fridge cleaned earlier that day as well??.... I just really need an exact same day tutorial I'm loving this method just want to know does it work.
Yes ma’am they were already cleaned
So yeah that part threw me off too because that makes the tutorial inaccurate as a same day tutorial unless the apples that were in the refrigerator that you used were also made that day. 🙄
Yes they were
Beautiful same day pigments
Yes they are! Thank you
Can you clean/dip them without the stick inserted? I guess my concern is the baking soda and cigar seeping into the apple.
librascale4071 Yes ma’am. We will do a video soon showing how we do it that way. Be sure to subscribe so you’ll get the notification when the video is up
Why the baking soda and apple cider vinegar??
It helps with the cleaning process
Hey.
Did you spray the pan the apples rested in?
No ma’am I just put it on the pan. Make sure it’s a non sticking pan
@@TheDyeFamily thank you so much..
If you put in oven how long do you let them stay in
The apples don’t go in the oven
some videos say use lemon juice and baking soda so I will use lemon juice and baking soda and put my apples in boiling water for 10 minutes to make sure they get all the wax off
You can try that as well. This is what works for us. Let us know how the lemon juice works. We LOVE feedback
10 minutes or 10 seconds ?
ScrappinShelle she’ll definitely be making apple sauce at the 10 minute point.
10 seconds
Only 10 seconds
Hello quick question i have the gel food color. Do i need the white food color still?
Yes
What’s the best way to clean the pot??
Fill with water and boil until the candy dissolves
Hi thanks for the tutorial cause other videos said to wait a day...but how u know when it reaches 300 degrees..I didn't see u use a thermometer..
Monica Rowser You’re welcome hun! I didn’t use a thermometer because I have been doing it so long that I know when it’s at 300 degrees. I’ll do a video on that soon! When we reach 2,000 subscribers we are gonna be doing another free tutorial for you all so make sure you tell all of your friends to come and subscribe😊
You don’t rinse it off you just wipe it off? After you dipped it in the hot water with the ingredients?
I’m trying to figure that out too. Do you wipe them off after dipping in solution before putting them in the frig ?
heyyyyyy doll with that method how many apples where you able to do
1 dozen
About to try my 1st ever apple dip....
Do you not get the sap that comes out after cleaning with this method??? I have some apples that I washed yesterday & waiting to dip. They all changed color but only 4 have the sap & I'm worried I may have to start over. I need them for my son's party tomorrow.
Also...
1. How much water do you use with the ACV & soda?
2. Do you rinse & wipe after the wash or just wipe?
Yes. Everything had to be wiped off after
Thank you.
I tried this method and it kept sliding off and wouldn’t get hard can you please tell me what I did I wrong?
Did you clean your apples before?
Same here
I did not see you use a cup of baking soda or apple cider vinegar? Are you sure a cup of each as that seems like a lot?
It's ok there is no set amount of baking soda or vinegar to use when you're washing the apples remember you're not cooking with it
Do I wrap them after I take them out the refrigerator?
Yes after they all harden
I did it. The apples looks beautiful thank you
Yayy! You’re so welcome 🥰 Make sure you subscribe! We’re almost at 6K subscribers
@@TheDyeFamily I did

I did 3 Apple's yesterday I almost had it right but I messed up along the way but I have 2 Apple's left I am going to try it today I am determined to get it right
Keep practicing and you’ll get it perfect
Did u really use a cup of baking soda and apple cider vinegar? That amount seems like a lot
@@jasminelima-marin6184 my thoughts exactly
Your apples are huge!! Where do you get them from??
I usually go to local fresh markets
I dipped my apples the same day after cleaning and they came out perfect I let them sit for 2 hours after dipping then I bagged them woke up the next day and they are stuck to the plastic and candy is breaking what did I do wrong??
How is the temperature where you had your apples stored?
@@TheDyeFamily we have hardwood floors the air was on so the house wasn't hot at all
@@TheDyeFamily what method do I use if I had to dip a lot of apples for a party I know after so many I have to start a new batch of candy
Javea Boyce Probably needed more cleaning
About 8-12
You added less water than in a previous video. What was the reasoning behind that? Thank you.
Just showing different techniques 😊😊
Just showing different techniques 😊😊
Ok. Gotcha!! Thanks again! I used your recipe and techniques and my candy apples came out beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this method. I can’t tell you how many times I get a request for the next day for Candy Apples. So clean them in this mixture and let them sit in the refrigerator for 10 mins and then take them out and wipe them again before dipping in your candy mixture (to remove moisture Im sure)?
Is that correct? I wanna do this without the stick in them yet also.
Yes ma’am
Naihsem A yes that’s correct
Did you find this to work for you Naihsem A?
I just did them but mine still got bubbles what did I do wrong flavor was just good
Cynthia rocha Did you follow these exact steps?
I got it .... no bubbles
did you wipe the apples after the vinegar solution and after taking out of the refridge with dry clean towel?
Can i use white vinegar?
Hey! Unfortunately no.
Please write the recepi
I have the recipe available for purchase. Message me on facebook @ Takhya Farmer
Very informal just might want to download a video editing so we won’t have to wait the several times you walk away from the camera which made this video longer
Thank you so much and thank you for the insight❤️❤️We do our best to put out the best content
@@TheDyeFamily you did well. That is why there is an option that you can fast forward the video. The baby in the background adds a touch of love to the video.
Next time please no music
Mine came out TOO hard... what can I do to prevent this???
Shaniqa Monae These are hard crack candy apples. Did you let the candy get to 300 degrees?
Yes I did..... I did them the same day also does that effect how hard it is?
Shaniqa Monae no ma’am. They are supposed to be hard. If you’re wanting a recipe with a thinner coating try 3cups of sugar,1 1/2 cups of Karo syrup and 2 cups of water. ❤️❤️ make sure you subscribe because I’ll be posting a thinner version soon❤️We also have another candy apple tutorial as well as a Candy Grapes video🍇
Candy Apples are hard. Just like a lollipop. Lol if you use a candy thermometer there are temps where you can remove the candy mix sooner. (Soft crack, medium etc) what it says depends on your thermometer. Soft crack is easier to bite in versus Hard crack.
Mine came out really liquidy and sticky 😓
Was this after you dipped it in candy?
