3x prism on my DMR, red dots on my standard rifles. That works well for me in airsoft.
I almost never use my magnifier when I fire. Its sole purpuse is to get a bit of magnification for recon to replace binos. Very rarely would I use it when I fire.
im approaching middle age and my eyesight is beginning to degenerate. I started running Magnifiers last year and it helps
Personally i think magnifiers are most of the time useless, espacially since we play most of the tiem between 30 to maybe 70 meter. Over 70 if you have a really high end build. Even up to 100m 3x sometimes feel overkill. I think LPVOs are a much better solution. Having the option of 1-6x is all you need. 1-2x for actual playing, maybe even 3x, everythign above is nice for scouting. Magnifiers look cooler tho most of the time.
There are low sitting magnifier mounts like from arisaka, but they are for real steel lol.

I got a sig romeo and juliet combo for my real steel and i would use it on my airsoft for training.

@@ryab3432 mostly getting more accustomed to having a magnifier on my rifle and getting used the weight and feel.
Maggiers can be useful in a DMR. Canted sights are worthless. I personally only use magnified politics for dmr's and sniper rifles and a lean more twords a 2x and I still use real steel hunting scopes because I want it to look correct. I only use 1x optics for everything else. My rpk16 with the maple leaf has an effective range of 200ft maybe even 250. It shoots lasers.
Howdy. I have a magnifier but there is something strange with it. When I look through reddot I see the target ok, no problems. When I put the magnifier, the reddot target is no longer centered, it goes somewhere to the side and I have no way to use the magnifier. Have you encountered this problem?
Yeah, adjust the windage on the magnifier.
@@MinamiX3 Thanks for the info. I will see if I can adjust adjust the windage because I have a Chinese magnifier and I don't know if it has such a thing. Thanks again!
