Thanks for sharing 3 years later your video helped I got one of these great set for Christmas in 2023 and didn't know how to remove the Magnet screw lock😊
Thanks for the explanation of the magnetic extension at the end! I was looking to purchase this set and had no idea what it was. Great video, subscribed.

That magnetic collar is pretty much well known among trades people, but judging from the comments I didn't realize most DIYers don't know about it. It's great that you put a video out to explain stuff like this. You should put out a video about the advantages of using magnetic extensions and guides for impact drivers versus just using a short bit and driving with it.
I've been wanting to do a video on Impact driver accessories that would cover extensions including Dewalts right angled flex shaft. Unfortunately I've been bogged down with the day job :(. Thanks for the feedback though, it means a lot!
Upgraded from an older 18v kit. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.
I need to buy a set. I just recently bought a new impact driver and need some good bits to go along with it. Hopefully the days of using cordless drill to drive screws is over with.
I've got to say this. Never have i had a bit whether Bosch, Irwin, Black and Decker Dewalt or other break. The only portion that wears out in my experience are the tips...
Thank you for the review. Your video quality is great, too; really shows the product detail. I’ve ordered this as well as a medium tough case for fasteners and older bits and this will snap on nicely.
I'm a big Milwaukee tools fan...but there version of this set is absolutely trash...my job deals with both Milwaukee and rarely dewalt anymore...but the dewalt version is way better! And thats coming from a Milwaukee fan!
It's really interesting the opinions people provide. I've seen tons of Dewalt users say the bits are horrible from Dewalt. But they often don't specify what series. I have had good luck with the flextorq series from Dewalt, but then again I've had Dewalt users tell me they prefer Milwaukee bits... I have also heard decent things about Makita bits, but have never tried them personally. I appreciate your honesty and you vouching for something that is not your main preference/tool brand!
That torque zone is BS and I proven this in my daily use over the years. You can also see the failures of multiple torque zone implementations of various company's on "Project Farm". Take care.

I just bought the same kit today. I like the 3/8 adapter and magnet attachment it comes with.
The 3/8" adapter comes in handy if you need to quickly throw a socket on and don't have a 20V Impact wrench.
@@kohltec9911 Agreed, I have a 3/8 socket set it pairs great with.

Planing to buy one for myself this coming Christmas.
sold from your video. now im buying this driver set
Thank you for posting this helpful video
Thanks for "showing" how to get the magnetic collar off the bit!
That was good thanks for explaining everything 👍
5:12 literally why I clicked on your video thanks I didn’t know it came off like that 👍🏾
Glad I was able to help!
thanks for explaining that magnet thing. i was about to take the kit back. couldnt figure it out. dewalt needs to explain things on their packaging
Yeah they don't give you a lot to go from on a lot of their accessories and bit packs.
I need to buy a set. I just recently bought a new impact driver and need some good bits to go along with it. Hopefully the days of using cordless drill to drive screws is over with.
Yes cordless drills are the shit but Milwaukee makes better bits in my opinion
Lovely presentation. I am looking into bit sets and I'm really leaning towards these because of your video. Thanks👍
Glad to be able to help out!
I got this set and I love it
I've got to say this. Never have i had a bit whether Bosch, Irwin, Black and Decker Dewalt or other break. The only portion that wears out in my experience are the tips...
Thanks for the info. Do you have a video of showing how to use the bits with an impact driver or a drill driver?
The Honest Carpenter has some good videos on drill bit sets and when and what to use
Awesome bits, nice video!
Thank you!

Man he looks like he’s got very soft hands. I think he’s got a office job tbh 😂
thanks
Are these bits worth it for a regular drill.
Absolutely. Much better than generic bits that end up stripping fasteners.
@@kohltec9911 Thanks.
Can this impact driver fit small drill bits ?
I like dewalt bosch Makita
Sad thing, they dont sell these in Europe, they are inch base packs but there is none comperable with mm based stuff :(
Dig your intro music
This set is not listed on HD at all. Any reason for that?
I have found that HD carries Maxfit and Lowes has FlexTorq from Dewalt. So you would have to buy from Lowes or Amazon.
@@kohltec9911 I just noticed that now! Thank you for the response! Probably going to Lowe's for that bit set this week.
Have you used Dewalt FLEXTORQ bits? Do you like them?
Buy bits in bulk folks. At least if you use it in work.
Threw my Dewalt's in the trash. Nothing but Milwaukee now.
For bits or power tools? Or both?
Is this for europerinan use her we have milimeter?😬
What is your favorite bit set for your Impact Driver?

Why does no one write the designation of the set only writes dewalt and at this end. Even if you want to buy it is not known what to look for
It looks bits are missing in some of the slots
Some slots come emty incase u have extra bits u can put them in one of those slots
And most of them you may never use

Thanks for the feedback!
Really low lighting!!!
Maybe invest in some decent lighting for shooting your videos?
One of the first videos I did. I've got some lights now and I am getting better. It takes time and a lot of effort.
this video is a 'bit' much
