My mother and father are 78 and very proud of there lawn and gardening
I got divorced last year after 22 years of marriage and had to resort to living in my childhood bedroom and I have been keepingthe pond alive and plants and the aviaries but he has got rid of them now
He has been in hospital 3 times with bowel tears and had 60cm of his bowel removed
Now I try to pull weeds and do stuff I’m 49 and working hard and do everything for them
But we need someone to clean the weeds and make it better the grass is growing in the garden please please
My therapist said the nightmares will stop if I don't see the shower scene again 🤣😂 Yeah, I'd give the Ryobi a crack!

Thank you @ryobi for allowing @timthelawnmowerman to review and give away your products. My 12 year old son has a lawnmower business and I help him with the edging but he would live the blade edger with the wheel as it would make it much easier for him to edge his clients paths.
Both you and blade mate have inspired me to get out into my yard and tackle the maintenance myself. That RYOBI edger would be a perfect addition to my garden tools. 👍🏻

Lighting was fine. Interesting how the number and range of lawncare tools has exploded since you started posting videos. Coincidence? I think not. You also have to be really careful using a string trimmer around trees, since repeated impact can cut the bark all the way around which will eventually kill the tree. Use a trunk protector to prevent that. Also works on curious elephants.
Using the Ryobi Brushless Edger would make gardening so much quicker as I currently use the Ryobi Line Trimmer to do all my edges which take a fair amount of time to get a perfect edge. Added bonus is I have the batteries from their drill and line trimmer already

When I had to start doing the yard work after hubby died, I invested in the battery Ryobi multi tool system and love it. I had to get a stand alone battery hedge trimmer, though, because I needed a LONG one and only a short one was available for the multi tool. Turned out ok because the hedge trimmer uses up the battery quite a bit faster. Whoever wins your giveaway will be very pleased with the performance!
I, too, am loving your vlogs! The informal, more personal chat is wonderful. And the helpful tips! I think I noticed you don’t use Darwin grips on your tools; any particular reason? Especially in light of your height; I, at 5’ 8”, tend to ‘hunch’ using the string trimmer 😬 Are there extra long versions I’m not aware of? I did invest in a grip recently for next season and hope it helps as much as I expect 😉
About the lighting in your shop; I, personally, would add more. Although I’m 70 and was raised with lower lumens, I definitely want my space well lit🤪! The ceiling fan above my recliner has a 4 arm light and I’ve replaced the ‘maximum 40w’ incandescent bulbs with LED 100w equivalents!! Yippee that the LEDs give more lumens for the wattage!!😉👏👍! That said, I’d also add more/stronger lighting to the rear of the space 😉! I definitely like things well illuminated hahaha!

I'd get a couple magnets for those cabinet doors. Perhaps get some AEG LED panels for your ceilings, plenty of options to hang/fit them.
When I saw you use the flame for the weeds, I thought of the old firebug drip torches and thought about fire safety, then remembered you're a firey.

Ryobi are my go too garden tools. Not too heavy to use. I use the flame thrower to clean up leaf litter that blows into my lava rock mulch. Works a treat. How does the edger go curved edges?

Got the Ryobi mower and whipper snipper. The edger would make me seem like less of an amateur 😂
Binge watching your videos again 2day and had to stop and go mow my lawn then come back to watching them. Thanks for all the stuff i learned that Ryobi edger would be awesome to have as i absolutely suck at doing the vertical edges and my line trimmer leaks fuel ever time i go to flip it over

Ryobi! I’ve been lusting after one of these for a while now. I have a Milwaukee Line Trimmer as I have all Milwaukee gear for work so it’s been hard to justify buying a different brand of tools and having to spend all that money on the batteries and charger and not just the skin only as I’m not massive on the design of the Milwaukee Edger

Love the Ryobi One+ series of tools and the versatility of equipment the batteries can go in. I started out with the chainsaw and ended up with the pole pruner, Cordless Vacuum, drill & air compressor as well. Would love the edger as I just can’t seem to get crisp lawn edges with the line trimmer, never seem to have it at the right angle that is comfortable to use.
That blow touch for the weeds looks like fun, good alternative to chemicals when you have lots of pets around. I can hear my husband saying “god no, don’t let her play with fire” in the background. 😂

I've tried turning the whipper snipper at 90⁰ to the grass, and I sucked at it -- maybe a specialised edger would help with that problem😂

Awesome videos Tim . I've tried to do the edging using my petrol line trimmer in the past but not had good results . Hard to get a clean edge plus my petrol model doesn't like being turned upside down . After watching your review and this video of the RYOBI battery edger I think that the battery option is definitely the way to go . The HP brushless model looks to have a bigger and more robust guide wheel as well as the extra power .

Now, a Milwaukee trimmer is definitely something I can use! 5 acres of wild desert and another two 5 acres parcels of in-laws. Batteries will match all other tools. Lol

I had a previous generation Ryobi One Blade Edger it was light weight and with 4 AH battery gave me more than enough run time to do my yard. I miss it as it was stolen off my front fence & I have a spinal injury and The Milwaukee M18 with a Blade is to heavy for me.
I Loved my Ryobi Blade trimmer and it would get looked after and put to good use...
Loving the vlogs, especially when you cover RYOBI gear given I've recently gotten into their battery ecosystem.
Had a ryobi a while back but sold it when I moved. Have now moved to a bigger lawn and would come in handy again. Always did a good job
