That WNBA joke was sublime, chef's kiss. Btw the one about the oysters, it didn't help that the woman was RECORDING the entire meal. I would've left her behind too.

Jada is protrayed perfectly here, we all see her for what she is and Kudos to SNL for helping us laugh harder at her crazy, desperate antics.... let's see more of this saga in future episodes.
The WNBA joke might be the funniest one I've heard in a long time. I keep coming back. The cheers from that crowd in NY that acted like they were so proud of the team most of them probably didn't even know the name of until Che said it, turning into laughter at themselves for him calling them out, was so funny. Perfect set up and execution.

The only criticism I have of this one is that it's shorter than usual. For some time now, Weekend Update lasts as long as 15 to 17 minutes and I was surprised they didn't have another cast member come on to close out the whole segment. Oh well still quality over quantity at least.

SNL starts at 10:30pm and Weekend Update is usually between 11:15pm and 11:20pm which is when I stop doing whatever it is I'm doing and then tune in. 😁👍
I saw the video of the woman eating the oysters (cuz, of course she filmed it) and it was repulsive, the slurping and loud noises she was making, it was awful. And her date said they were only supposed to go out for drinks! She’s messy lol
