It is really fun to tinker with that bridge idea leaving the cards misaligned. Loved this. I have found it worked really well when doing a vertical in-the-hands riffle. Do the bridge as you explained after this shuffle, and you are left with cards misaligned at the ends instead of the sides, like when doing a tabled pull-through but it's in the hands. Just trying to think of a way to cover it naturally.

I actually tried doing it with the one handed bridge just yesterday!

@@CardMechanic I think it's easier and more believable if done in two stages. One-handed bridge shuffle first, and then a short pause to straighten the cards (as one would do in a real shuffle), and only then go for the cut (a normal cut, with the index of the active hand).
When separating, I like to reduce the friction between the cards before cutting.
For me, the key to a neat separation of the two stacks is the pinky

This is a great shuffle CM! I saw something similar a few years back on Disturb Reality's channel with 52Kards. I only played around with this shuffle a couple of times, never used it in performance though.
    Great tutorial! Congrats on 20K!

I love how every card sharks know how to false shuffle and how to do a bunch of false cuts, but they will all tell you "don't ever cheat, it is bad! ", but they know how to do it, and they will teach it to you anyways... :))
but seriously, even after a fair amount of training, try this move for real on a random private table and you'll get your ass whooped.
can't help but smile at the idea of a guy shuffling a deck and slowly shifting position to cover a bad angle...
