I like your method. So much easier than leaving an opening and turning it right side out. Thank you!

Spend my Sunday afternoon creating several of your darling bookmarks. So fun! I'll be making more for gifts, and myself. Thank-you for your clear, creative video.

I love the idea of practicing skills on a small project. The book mark looks really nice. Maybe I could free motion a big heart - Valentine's Day is not far away.

This is a wonderful project to use up some of those scrap fabrics! And I love your kitty at the end! Looks so much like my cat, Tigger.

I never thought to use pinking shears on the edges. Great tip! Great project for stocking stuffers. Thanks!

Great tutorial! I am a new sewer and one of my goals is to replace some gorgeous quilted bookmarks that I bought, then lost :(. I had no idea how to go about making them and now I do! Also I have been trying to learn how to piece together a project and it has been so confusing. This makes it look easy. Thank you!

You could quilt the pieces with decorative stitches, also. This is a cute idea for when you want to mindlessly sew something and be creative. Also a good project for kids learning to sew.

I love making bookmarks and these are really nice. Easy peasy as I am taking a break from my other quilting. I make scrap ribbons, which work great on my bookmarks, too. Uses more scraps. Thanks nice tutorial.

This is wonderful! All my daughters and grandkids read - I’m making them all (9 total) book pillows for Christmas and this will be a perfect compliment to go with all of them. Thank you!

Thank you for this excellent video. I still have time to make a few of these -- after all its ONLY December 23!

With such a small piece why didn’t you have your backing fabric attached when you were doing the quilting since you pinked the edges in the end?

How are you loving your continental M7…Just bought one and LOVE it!!! Trying to decide if I keep or sell my 9400

I really like the M7 but I still have a 9450 as well. The M7 is just too big to cart around to retreats so the 9450 is easier for that. I wouldn't sell the 9400 as it is a good backup machine is you need to service the M7 or, like I often do, I have the M7 set up for free motion quilting and the 9450 for piecing. Yes, I'm spoiled ;)
