Did you know you can bake a cake in your instant pot? Put that cake button to good use and "bake" a cake even if it's the middle of summer, without heating up your whole kitchen! InstantPot ebook: cookingschool.teachable.com/p/beginners-guide-to-using-your-instant-pot
My God I have been trying to find out how! And can’t find any videos. Your comment was the first that referenced it! I have the new duo crisp and that’s all I want to do is Bake the cake but all this
How to make a lemon glaze. 1 cup of confectioners sugar, lemon zest, half a lemon for juice, more juice if lemon is small. Make after cake has been removed, and drizzle onto warm cake. I love the cake mold. 🙏❤💕
Omg! We have the same name lol. Thank you for the info/video. I am researching how to "bake" a cake in an Instapot and will hopefully be doing so soon now that I've watched this video.
@@Cattitude48 Mine does too. The first time I made the cake it was kind of gross because it tasted like chicken lol! I haven't had any more problems since I ordered separate rings for desserts.
@@SimplifiedChef I read an article today that says putting the ring in a gallon zip lock or the inner pot of the IP overnight with 1/4 cup each of white vinegar and lemon juice works well to take the smell out. I guess it's w!worth trying but I already have extra rings now. I may try it on my oldest ring. Too bad about your cake!
Please please don't be angry with me. Another video chef called me rude because I said she incorrectly called the Instant Pot "instapot." I'm not trying to insult anyone. I'm just stating a fact.
I try to use both terms in my videos. But a lot of people use the term "instapot" when searching so that's how I title the videos so people can find them. Thanks for watching!

Wow, that cake has zero noticeable cracks and it came out as close to perfect as possible. Thanks for a great video! :)
Thank you! Hope you get to try it sometime.

this looks damn good. I love this instapot
So cute!!
Very helpful..thank you!!
Can you use a metal pan?
You can! I prefer to use the silicone because it doesn't have to be greased and floured.
I can confirm a metal cake pan works just as well ;) happy baking!
Sorry I couldn't hear anything you said. I looked for the written recipe, but I don't see it. Oh well.
Omg that cake mold is so expensive. Hope to find a much cheaper one
someone shops at Aldi
s
lol! You know it. Aldi is my boo :)
No the ring does not hold the odor of meat,, or soup etc and transfer to your cake recipes,
Mine does. I have to use a separate ring for sweet. I've read that is true for many others as well.
