Thank you, Martin Rios, for your valuable guidance and training tips on your RUclips channel. Your expertise has helped me become more athletic and improve my football skills significantly.
Your partly the reason why I got into martial arts and it made me and everyone I know happy, my parents are very proud of me, and I’m getting more fit because I ditched the bodybuilder workouts for athlete workouts
Hey Martin, first of all, thank you and your brother for everything you do, you're helping me improve and get stronger every day. I have a question. I would like to start training MMA, but since I don't have time for it now (school), I'm currently training in the gym and I have made a whole performance based program thanks to your videos, but I struggle to make it perfect since, as we can see in this video, there are so many great exercises and I don't know which to choose. The program is currently based on the Upper/Lower split and a rest day after every workout day because I'm training with really high intensity. How do I choose the best exercises and should I change the exercise variations every session? (eg. today I do push-ups, next time I do bench press etc.)
Dear Mr Martin I have a question about training your core. To what extent do we need core isometrics? I feel like on any other muscle we ignore isometric training, but for core it is prioritized. Do dynamic exercises not train the core? Like if I get good at sit-ups wont that strength also translate to stability as well? Or is it about total motor unit recruitment/teaching your body to be stable? And if we need to do both how to do you recommend to train both?
Question. Dose Leon Edwards do ladder drills in his plyometrics training routine or is it good to add ladder drills in a plyometrics workout routine (please respond Martin Rios)😁
@@MartinRiosFit you should tell ur bro to pick it up a notch cause your videos latley are way better than his. Hes cool though so no offnse to him. Ur cool to
3-4x a week is all you need. It should improve your boxing. Get plenty of rest between sessions and always prioritize boxing over a strength & conditioning session
Would you like do the Legs on one day, the Push on one day and the Pull on one day or do everything on every day. Should i do a Full Bodyworkout or split it?
I wanna buy the peak athleticism package, but I can only pay with cash, cuz I don't have card (I'm too young for one). So is there another way how I could buy your Program?
they train freeweights and done refrain from the core being used as a stabilizer, they don’t isolate muscles, and for power they perform most of their reps in a explosive way
this training routine includes a lot of cardio so i was wondering if im "forced" to fight at my natural weight class or is there any way to get heavier (i dont wanna look like O'Malley)
@Rankoreh Then stay the bodyweight you're at. You likely don't even have enough muscle on your frame, so I highly doubt you'll be able to reap any of the benefits from "maingaining." So, please, tell me this. Why are you asking, "Is there any way to get heavier?" When you want to stay at your natural weight class? These statements contradict each other. Either you put on muscle or fat to get heavier, or you don't.
@@Rankoreh I guess you're forced to fight at your natural weight class. Unless you wanna pull a Sean Strickland and put on more mass to fight in the middleweight division.
Great info, the hate on bodybuilders and their sport was unnecessary. Maybe some more wisdom and less hate will take you to be a better content creator. You can be even better than you are now :)
You have way too strong of an opinion on certain workouts. Machines are fantastic for athletes who have over trained/injured certain body parts. Using equipment for certain lifts helps individuals with limiting factors. You make it sound like people who use this stuff is beneath you and that completely drowns out the wonderful information you have.
Paulo costa lost to izzy, izzy lost to sean strickland, sean lost to usman, usman lost to Leon Edwards. There fore leon has a better physic and would beat costa.
