Beautiful film. The drone shots add so much. Have you climbed Pacific Peak? I like the music you use in your videos. Another content creator on RUclips once told me choosing the music is the hardest part of editing. I so agree, at least for me. 😊
Thanks Vickie. I’m using an old DJI mini 2 drone I bought a few years ago but haven’t used it as much as I like, primarily because I hike mostly in NP or wilderness areas. Also i only fly it if there is no one else around even if it’s legal to fly. When I do fly it is pretty fun and I like the footage it captures (my most viewed video from Utah has lots of drone footage). I have a couple of favorite license-free composers (Scott Buckley, Punch Deck) that I can choose from, complimented with other music I like from RUclips Audio Library. It is time consuming but also a lot of fun. Pacific Peak is still on my to-do list. Want to combine that with a trip to Pacific Tarn
I think this is your best video. I get a little worried when you fly the drone while climbing the ridge that you'll be distracted by the screen and fall off the edge, so be careful!
Thank you for the concern. I felt pretty safe flying it on that part of the ridge. When it got steeper I had use of both hands as you saw in the video. Overall it was a fun but relatively easy scramble for me. The upcoming video will have more technical challenges
