I'm glad you are so clear about safety at the beginning of the video. I know that I get complacent and too lazy to bring everything I need all too often, so it's great to see someone with your experience not taking unnecessary chances.
Sneffles was my first 14-teener, years ago. Great hike. I hit some altitude / headaches at the top, and the storms started rolling in .. so heading down felt great. Although some serious quad work.
Incredible adventure…bravo. Those views were so perfect they almost didn’t look real. Thanks for sharing it all with us in this expanded format just for this peak!
For her first 14er she did extremely well on the Class lll climb. Breathing was the only thing she seemed to notice as a bit of a problem but that didn't stop her either. She definitely has what it takes to do 14ers. Hope you are able to come through again and get in a few more, it is always well worth the effort. Sneffels was my 34th 14er and what a beautiful climb.
I was very impressed with both of you and un bravo particulier pour Audree! I was quite scared in bits but also thinking it would be great to learn going on such terrain with a guide. It definitely made me appreciate how much beauty there is out there. Thank you
I love the change from dense woods you got us use to it, to those clear and high altitude landscapes with big grasslands. Gorgeous! Reminds me of the Pyrinees. Congrats for that 14er.
Nice, this was my first 14'er in High school, almost was my last a few other times so smart you brought safety gear! My thumb nail is of getting lost during an rain storm on Sneffels after bailing on the attempt! Waited in an emergency bivy till the vis was better. Only Mt. I've also seen lighting strike with blue bird skys nearly giving out heart attacks with the sound, there were 12 people and we all set records fleeing down those scree fields 😅
Our highest peak in Sifnos island is 680 meters ( 207 feet ) ... So 6.3 x 680m = 4.284 m or 14.100 feet . It's a small difference hahaha .. Congratulations and thanks for the great video !
Really cool seeing it from that side. I have a video coming out in a couple weeks of Blue Lakes up to the 4th lake, the one closest to the ridge there. To do Sneffels from that path it's about double the distance and elevation, most do it from yankee boy. Blue lakes was incredible on its own though. Also I guess going up the wall to the saddle is pretty dangerous, rocks knocked off the top by other hikers come flying down like cannon balls (what someone I talked to said who went up that route).
That’s one of the reasons we chose to climb via the southwest ridge, to avoid coming up behind other hikers in the Lavender Col. We’ll have to go back and do the Blue Lakes approach, thanks!
Hey Jeff, nice video, as always. 👍 Beautiful landscape. Could you please so kind and send me the name of the song between min 2 and 3 :-) I like this kind of musik. Thanks.
I did Sneffels with my sons in August ‘22 from the Blue Lakes side (in one day). Yeah, you guys should definitely invest in some rock 🪖 helmets. It just takes a small one to land on top of your head and it would spell disaster….
Hello! In the early part of the video, Audree was mixing up an electrolyte mix in her flask. Can you share which brand it was? Or recommend one? I've tried a couple and am looking for an option that doesn't get all clumped together when I put it in the water, haha! Thanks!

You never need your emergency kit until you do... lol
Gorgeous! Congratulations to Audree on her first 14er
Those insta360 shots from near the summit are amazing

So stunning. Nothing like spending time in the mountains.
I really love your films, both content and execution! Thanks a lot from Sweden! 🙏🏼

Woah, awesome video work Jeff! Thanks again to you and Audrée for leading the way up! It was great meeting you both!
Thanks Liam! Great sharing the trails with you, and I still owe you some footage..
Your pictures are amazing as always. Thank you for sharing
Impressive views from the top. Not a bad place to start for Audree´s first big mountain and the weather was excellent. Nice adventure
Awesome video! It’s colorado tradition to enjoy a local beer at the summit 😁 for next time!

Magnifiques images, magnifiques personnes, merci pour l'inspiration Jeff et Audrée!😊
Another great one. I loved the beautiful scenery.
Look at those views! There's something special about 14ers. Great video Jeff!
Looked like an awesome summit! Crystal clear day too.
Yikes! You two are brave! What a fantastic adventure!

I’ve also never hiked a 14er yet. Planning that for next year. This just makes me want to go even more. Good luck on UTMB! Go 🇨🇦
My most fav 14er love the blue lakes do this every summer!!!
this was such a great watch - i always really appreciate your music choices; they compliment the footage so well!
I love how you use Google earth and maps - it really helps the viewer place you and give context.
Great vid. I did this peak as a snow climb many years ago. Very cool to see it in the summer. Looks like some awesome scrambling.
For high anxiety reasons...no sh@t! Awesome climb for 1st timer!
This is the stuff you do so well. Great video 👍
That hike is crazy!!! No thanks! But thank you for filming it. It's too hot to hike this weekend. Next weekend I hope to do 1500ft.
Thank you for sharing it’s very helpful
Those are bucket list views! Reminds me of the backcountry around Manning Park, Strathcona Provincial Park or the Cariboo Mountains Provincial Park
Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks for this video and sharing your experience.
Wow that was so badass. I hope one day I have a partner to do things like this with.

Wicked climb man 😉
Awesome. 👍🙏

Truly epic!
So beautiful! The descent looks challenging, given how long and steep it is. Don't think my knees could handle it :(
Awesome!!!
Would love it if you both shared what type/brand of shoes you wear.

We definitely own a few, just didn’t have them with us on our road trip. But totally agree that they’re important for overhead rock!
Terrifying route 😬😅 and one cannot even leave bugs behind when at 4500m? oha

She was using Skratch on this run, likely their Superfuel mix.
@@JeffPelletier thanks Jeff!🙌🏻
Wonder what model of shoes you were using…
Salomon Sense Pro 4 👍
@@JeffPelletier thank you
